Re: ? Light fingers.
Bruce not interested in doing anything but I would hate to think that this company has such a person in their employ. As I said- cost irrelevant. Our van has not been anywhere else & no one else has been anywhere near the van.

But if no one says anything to the owner (Boss) then the next person may have their diamond ring or something else "borrowed" Q/ What if BBA's wedding ring had of been borrowed off the bench?

Re: ? Light fingers.
Years ago, had to have M/h #2 trucked from Mt Isa to Melb.
Local Isa contractor took it to Brisbane, where it sat for 2 weeks until a low-loader became available, in the yard of a company whose name reminds me of the money collected for travelling on certain roads.
Had to leave keys, as steering lock would have Bus turning constantly left.
When we collected it in Melb, we were missing:
- collection of 20-odd CDs
- unopened 500g coffee
- opened 500g coffee
- unopened 1 litre bottle of fruit juice (non-refrigerated type)
- 1-cup coffee plunger
- unused small non-stick frypan (still with wrapper & price-tag)
- used larger non-stick frypan
- Swiss Army knife.
The S.A. knife was in a closed cardboard box, under folded towels, in a rear overhead cupboard.
The rest were in the 'pantry' cupboards under & alongside the sink.
Of course, each transporter blamed the other.
Insurance (KTA) saw the hopelessness of chasing the thief, and simply paid.

Re: ? Light fingers.
I think a better approach would be to mention the tomatoes and bowl in a phone call and enquire if it possibly got put in the lunch room fridge to save them from spoiling. This gives the boss a chance to either check the fridge or deal with the issue.Macca wrote:Bruce not interested in doing anything but I would hate to think that this company has such a person in their employ. Well who has done something which turns out to make you look a TOTAL fool
Opened my microwave to take items out before using this afternoon & guess what this total idiot found? I honestly never thought to look here but can now remember putting them in there out of the road before Bruce took the van up for the new windows.

Hahahahaha!! Love it. I knew they would turn up just like my necklace. But at least I didn't expose myself on the Internet over it. Are the tomatoes still edible? At the rate I use my van microwave, they would have turned into a scientific experiment!

Tomatoes are fine Lesley. Stupid thing is that Bruce suggested that they might have fallen behind the MW & that comment did not even make me look.

Luv it Kay. So do you reckon my diamonds are safe when we take the van there on Feb 3rd?
