Just to get back on topic, this was one of the biggest selling motifs on t-shirts and bags when we were in Austria 2 years ago.
Just to fill it in a bit, when we booked into the hotel and gave our address as Australia the receptionist called a couple of other staff over and said " Now these people do know what a kangaroo looks like ".
When I questioned what was up, they had a group come in the day before that wanted to know where they could go and see a few roos ? Came from eastern Europe and did not take kindly to being told there were none in Austria ! They had saved for years to come over and see them.
Quite a common occurrence we came to realize.
