Re-bore

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

We seem to have had the same take on music back then mate.
Plus I enjoy jazz.
Pity about what comes out of the box these days.

What's going on here? Everybody wants to sing happy songs while I'm going under the knife!

BTW Dot, it's not being removed - I have been told they just go in through the urethra with an "electric" device and dilate the passage through the prostate. That couldn't hurt, could it?

Where do you think the urethra is?? No it doesn't hurt at all, matter of fact I never felt anything except stinging eyes from the stinking smoke and the facial muscles from laughing.. Don't worry about it Steve you feel nothing except the benefits. :D ;)

Hmmm...... me thinks they are not being very sympathetic Steve, but I've crossed my legs real tight in sympathy... or is that empathy :? Anyway, best of luck Steve, hope it all works afterwards. And thankyou for the heads up, I will remember not to say anything till after I've had an op like that ;)
I remember laying on the trolley waiting to go into the theatre and hearing a female softly crying in the cubicle beside me. I asked what she was going in for and she said a hysterectomy. I said I was going in for a gall bladder removal so I hoped they didn't mix up our paperwork. It seemed to cheer her up for some reason, men are so much better with the sympathy thing

It could be worse, ever seen the thing they use to clean out drains  I do remember heading in for the double ended camera work and seeing 100 mtrs of black drain pipe laying on the floor and hoping they washed after the last patient and they did the top end first when they started on me.... still had a dreadful taste in my mouth when all the planets realigned after the total violation of areas my mum didn't even kiss so I'm still not too sure

You will be fine Steve, you can tell us all about it when you get out. Don't worry about Dot, she can be a real b.... sometimes, but she already knows that.
Some of my mates have had the job done and they all reckon it was worth it. None of them, however, said that it doesn't hurt.
