Travel Plans For This Year

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

We are.
Promised the BOSS 9 years ago when we retired (and got married) that I would take her to see the Eiffel Tower and I always keep my promises....

We are going there on the way to the Chelsea flower show with a bit of a fast tour around the Pommie country side in between.
I hope the present problems have died down by May and the biggest threat is the pickpockets and airline food.

Our loose plans are to leave on the first of April heading to Townsville, but we are going via NSW, and Vic to visit some good friends, then onto SA to also visit some more good friends might even go for a boat ride?
Then onto NT via the 'rock' then Alice thru to Townsville to be there some time in August.
Then to slowly come back down to home.
Or what ever happens while we are out there? just go with the flo.

Hey Bernie,
Do yourself a favour and make sure you go to kings canyon for a few days. Better than the rock. We went there a year ago and I wish I hadn't wasted my time going to the rock. I suppose everyone has to go to the rock just to say that you have been there

We are in Wymah NSW just out of Albury on the Hume Weir, be here for another few days, we have an event to attend in Melbourne late Jan then we go to the Bonnie Doon Music Festival Victoria in Feb, we've booked in at Chiltern Vic (1/2 hour south west of Albury) gunna meet up there, with the lovely Bob n Bev for a week at Easter, then we head north slowly to just outside of Gympie Qld for a house/ pet sitting job, May til October.....Visiting youngest daughter on the way at Gold Coast or somewhere close!? In between all that we'll be touring around the areas. Really looking forward to exploring the Gympie area coast etc in the 5 months we are there. After that we will slowly explore north.........
That's it in a nutshell!
Cheers

Providing my Knee replacement is OK.
April Murray Bridge [CMCA Rally], then Taggety, then Gum Bend Lake, then Nindigully Pub.
Then across the top to Broome.
Then slowly down the inland road to Kalgoolie turn right to Perth, might see Tanks on the way, stop at Kellabin [sp] and to Albany for the CMCA Rally in Oct.
Back to Port Macquarie then to NZ [maybe?]
Home for Christmas.

Leave Victoria in three weeks with the English caravan, swags, tent and adopted dog, ...sydney to see son, then meandering to see friends in Inglewood, then dropping off some books in Brisbane, then slowly meandering to FNQ, where we are looking after a mango plantation for three months. Leave the caravan with the homeowners, head to the tip with tent and plenty of mozzie repellant. A short farm sit in Stanthorpe, and meander back to Victoria....back sometime in November....maybe!

Cheers

Late Feb we're boarding a cruise ship to NZ for 2 weeks.
Mid-April to maybe July we're first joining the WRVC's Nullarbor Safari, then heading to the West Coast to visit friends met on our 3yr tour around Oz. :)
Regards & God bless,

Chiltern for the Easter UWE, then maybe Police Paddocks or a trip to Melbourne to visits friends, or a trip to SA to transfer some more regos or ....... then Taggerty first week end in May, then Gum Bend Lake 2nd or is it 3rd week end in May, then home for a rest to recuperate both physically and the bank account.
