Congrats to T1 and Margaret!

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

It is a tad "unique" to drive at the moment so it does need someone "experienced" in these unique requirements. Little things like no brakes, the accelerator doesn't return by itself, the hand control for the maxi brakes is frozen in the released position, the gear selector is just sitting on the floor so it requires one hand to hold it in place while the other selects the appropriate gear, the starting procedure requires a selection of wires to be twisted together and another wire to activate the starter.... the gas bottle needs to be connected and turned upside down and turned on and the battery installed and plugged in.... just little things but they could all add up to a less than desirable result when reversing off a float and down the ramps at its new home ;) Plus there will be a tad of smiling and handshaking required as we won't have actual paid for the place yet so unloading a refugee from the scrap yard challenge will require a tad of diplomacy as well I'm thinking
I'm sure there will be a few "surprises" when we unpack over there as it is, things need to be loaded so they don't damage the interior already fitted and don't damage the goods being transported. The float the bus is to travel on is designed to carry over size heavy earthmoving equipment so a smooth ride is not one of the features that big bus will experience on its 1200km trip there.
No doubt this will be another SNAFU departure as most T1 trips start out with everything done I the last hrs before hitting the road.

T1, All will be well in the world, you have had to deal with a fair bunch of s**t in the past few years.
Cleaning out the shed is always going to be the hardest thing to do.
Good luck to you and Marg, and enjoy your Christmas in SA.
Cheers

This workshop in Mannum and with a bit of luck, this house One of those houses that wouldn't suit many, Margaret says it will be perfect because there is absolutely no where I can put anything in the yard, there simply isn't a yard, it hangs off the side of the cliff just about

Not many blokes have a wife who would buy them a man cave like that eh 8-) Hopefully there will be enough money available to buy Margaret her "Boat House" as well, named that way due to the pointy bit at the front. A lot will hinge on how well T1 Lithium takes off I guess so the "man cave" had to be the priority purchase. Plenty of room for visitor parking and Bruce & Wendy are only a short bike ride away(well electric bike ride actually)
I think the weather over here is trying to get us acclimatised, the humidity here is energy draining to say the least so I sure won't miss that. When Jerry (the current workshop owner) told us it gets to 47*C in the workshop sometimes we have decided that either the air conditioned "Rustic Inn Perfection", pub or river will be the place to be at those times

Gee Terry, for years you have never complained about worked from home, I'm sure Margaret won't mind living at the work place for a while?
(I am looking for good hiding place)
