Whether the weather be fine, whether the weather be not, we must weather the weather whatever the weather, whether we like it or not.

Air-conditioning can be very effective in warm weather.T1 Terry wrote:How about affective and effective.... which do you use where?
And a movie can be emotionally affective.
Just don't get me started on the current trend to use 'impact' when you mean 'affect'!!

As in: "The cool weather experienced so far this summer will impact ice-cream sales."
AAAaarrrgghh!

Well I think motorhome is a noun in its own right, however, motor can be a noun, a verb or perhaps, in this case, an adjective. Home is a noun. So i'm guessing the former. Having said that, we'll wait until Ray deigns us with his opinion.

Yep, SteveW is right.
After 50+ years of common usage (mainly in the USA) the word "motorhome" is now accepted as a noun (but not yet as a verb) by the OED.
George: choose your verbs carefully...
I don't know of anyone who would 'motorhome' in on a target!
However, if your target is a CP, I guess you could motorhome in on it...
Which makes it the verb-in-transit(ive)!
