Thanks Dot and Terry.
Terry I have never checked the economy with or without rack extension but I would assume it wouldn't make that much difference as I would still have the roof rack in place. The panels and rack extension are easily removed if I choose to do so but I don't feel its worth the trouble. The car is a GQ Patrol and fuel economy doesn't seem to change that much whether it's fully loaded and towing the camper on long runs, or just empty and doing local short runs at home. I owned a Kombi years ago and they are more affected by wind buffeting than the Patrol, I also seem to remember that fitting exhaust extractors made a difference to the performance but then it was one of the 1500cc x 4 cyl. models.

Cheers Rob.

We have a 210 lt ever kool and wouldn't waist my money buying another . Inside the fridge top is sort of warm bottom freezes stuff in the crisper . Not quiet like they say on there vidieo . And since I have bought it I have worked out it comes from the same factory that the eBay specials come from .at 1/4 the price . And our last 1 lasted 6 yrs .
