We could mow the block above the house on Purnong Rd Mannum, quite a view from there, no idea who I'd need to contact for permission though, but I can find out if anyone is interested.......
T1,
I'd vote for Police Paddocks...
I could come home each night for dinner!
Actually, you're right: Easter w/e it's elbow-to-elbow. So I reckon that's a no-no.

What about Beltana Station in outback SA, 30km south of Leigh Creek (town is now closed, because the mine did :( )
Beltana is 500,000 acres. There should be enough space for us. ;)
Actually, close to the homestead they have two powered sites!
They also have a camp-ground about 1km from the homestead, which I have not seen, just saw the signpost.
I'd be back there in a flash! Great 4WD tracks around the place, with route notes available at the homestead.
And they have a cafe/museum in the now empty shearing shed. They run sheep that moult! Don't need shearers any more.
(But the wool is not yer AAAA class, we were told. Carpet quality.)
Would they be Leicestershire sheep Ray? (Less to shear)

I assume the majority here are self sufficient and don't need powered sites, so a bush camp setting would be the better choice than a CP. Most CPs wouldn't be able to cope with a number of big rigs anyway.

Along the Murray is probably going to be a bit busy in the popular spots but the areas around Tooleybuc and maybe Patchewollock would be good and central for all 3 states.
I think Patchewollock offer some powered sites on the oval or the school grounds for those who want or need it.

Sheep that the wool falls out would be inconvenient for the NZ members who might attend!

Some time ago I did a favor (is that how you spell Favor Ray?) for a chap who is the principal owner of several stations and was invited to use them if I wanted to.
I don't have a 4WD so never took up the offer.
You think now might be the time? I reckon the shearers quarters MIGHT be accessible too. (showers & kitchen?)
Can't see a need for beds except Mike & Jenny or JonD.... haha

Maybe number 3 or 4?

We will not be there next year as have to stay in Brisbane to watch granddaughter swim at the National Swimming titles. We got into trouble this year because we did not go to Adelaide to see her! actually saw her 3 swims live on computer though- technology astounds me.
Bruce- Lake Elphinstone not Nth QLD. LOL An outback station would be wonderful though. Naturally with a river close by.

Hi. Always welcome at Loxton but could only take 6 to 8 vans in the camp area with another 2 or3 up by the shed. Just hope there is not a full moon at Easter. Cheers John
