Great place to base yourself while you go from station to station doing electrical work David.
spare.
Janelle, I would love to spend a few seasons doing just that, but my biggest problem is convincing the other half (schoolteacher) that we could do something like that without going spare.

That's easy David. Wife could do Govie-ing/school of the air teaching on a station

Or, a term at a local community school...top $$$

Bruce, we went and rolled up some barbed wire out of an old fence today ( I have a word for that task but unfortunately it's taken

) and guess what? There is water

Lots of big puddles on the road.

Yep sorry, no pics of puddles.

No pics either of the murder of crows we saw, there were more than a hundred of them all together, flying around with about thirty hawks. It was an amazing sight.

Oh No! Not barbed wire?
I hope it wasn't that nasty old high tensile stuff?
A lot of fun cleaning up that stuff after a bushfire.
Sounds like you're getting more rain up there than us. Farmers are starting to worry about any crops they thought they had.
Is Dot getting closer yet? (be worried ... very worried!)
