A rather warm one today here in upper Mannum, the first signs of what is to come I'm guessing. Sprayed all the weeds yesterday, could have saved the effort and just left the sun to fry them

Time to leave the air cond office in the air cond car to the air cond house.... it's a tough life but someone has to do it

42 and windy today. Now it’s as black as a dog’s guts, blowing a gale, thunder and lightning, 2 drops of rain.
Please no fires.

Much to burn up there now Janelle ?
Lightning fires can be a bit concerning.

Hi Lance, last year was the best season (ie rain) since 1974, the feed up here is amazing. All has settled down, wind dropped, a little bit of rain, lightning all gone east.

Rain has changed direction on us, has been from the south all week and now from the nor west. Could be more ahead to disrupt the ashes in the coming days.

They had good weather fort the girls ashes, which I thought was a great show, with some serious talent and excellent stars playing. Good weather for the girls soccer and so far rugby league, all greats spectacles. well worth watching because of the standard of skills they display.

It's a tad warm here in Crystal Brook, wonder how warm it is in Mannum. Tried to polish the solar panels this morning, by 8:30am the sun was already frying the skin off the arms and it has just kept getting hotter. Hopefully a breeze will come up soon to shift the heat around a bit cause it's way too hot to do anything in the shed where the battery pack and inverter lives

You're lucky Terry!!
It's about the same in Mannum but tomorrow we're heading for 40 degrees but you're still forecast for 35!!
Might not believe it but it's raining between Mildura & Broken Hill.
