Re: Iveco Daily with a winch
Vik I recently took the front off my Iveco. I know it's an older version but the cheap plastic and tin just won't do it for a winch.
A decent bullbar & winch will have to be bolted directly onto the chassis rails.
A decent engineer or at least a good chap that knows how to do a good strong weld would soon knock one up.
What model is yours? Is it a 4WD or not?

MATE... if it was a 4x4 Iveco with 3 diff locks 15 low ranges etc, I wouldnt need a winch...BruceS wrote: ↑Sat Nov 25, 2017 12:36 pm Vik I recently took the front off my Iveco. I know it's an older version but the cheap plastic and tin just won't do it for a winch.

Re: Iveco Daily with a winch
Bogged the Mazda in the front yard back in Day Street Lake Illawarra. Hooked up the winch and ripped the support piece on top of the bull bar clean out of the bog it was riveted into
finally dragged it out backwards with the Kombi, it takes real skill to bog one of those buggers.... but that's another story

Re: Iveco Daily with a winch
What I would really like is what you say there, a portable winch ya keep in the truck with a ,like a Hayman Reece type hitch set up on the front ya can plug the winch into, and the rear already has one in the tow bar...T1 Terry wrote: ↑Mon Nov 27, 2017 8:11 pm Bogged the Mazda in the front yard back in Day Street Lake Illawarra.
