New Newcastle Track

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Dot, if I wanted to watch cars go by one by one I could do it sitting at my front gate. Much better to watch it on TV as you get to follow them around the circuit as well as look at the scenery that is Newcastle.

George it's so close to you, it's not just the cars, it's the first, it's the atmosphere, it's the vibe, it's Newcastle on show.

OH I almost forgot and it's only $75 to get in but that wouldn't stop you would it? :D

Heard Mark Skaife say he had never seen Nobbys beach so empty maybe it was because it was impossible to get down there with all the fencing and road closures. Bloody idjit.

Can't wait until they move from polluting noisy petrol guzzlers to electric race cars. Watched a standard Tesla go up against a formula1 on youtube and it thrashed the race car in acceleration, if it were tuned for racing, would have cleaned the F1 up around the entire track.

We had an EV day in Tas a few weeks ago, they had some really cool cars there, moist were imported and not yet available in Aus. But some of the conversions are excellent and have fantastic ranges, there was an electric touring coach made in Geelong, that has a range of over 1000klms on one charge, would love to win lotto and get one of those converted, won't hold me breath though.

I don't think he meant to take Lowndes out like that, but he did. Of course there will be official protests and major carry on, but that's what happens when .......Maybe next year Ford followers.

Ok, yes I missed it again today.   Life has a habit of getting in the way of tv. The track is only an hour and a half from home, but I would never pay anyone for the dubious privilege of visiting Newie. I grew up by the lake, but worked for many years very close to where the track is and it was a very dirty city back then. It has changed now, but add the noise and pollution of race cars... na, I'll give it a miss. but thanks all the same. The rev heads appear to have had a good time.

Glad our city gave you rev heads some amusement for the day. ;) ;) ;) ;)
