Water Pump

Sounds like a switch to me?
Hope someone buys & tries?

The by-pass is a spring loaded diaphragm that opens up allowing water from the discharge side back to the inlet side.
The by-pass is set to begin opening at about 40 psi and creating full by-pass at about 62 psi (for 55 psi models), lower
pressure pumps will vary depending on the by-pass and pressure switch settings. If the switch or by -pass are adjusted too
much, the by-pass and switch shut-off can overlap and THE PUMP WILL NOT SHUT OFF. Screwing the switch screw in
clockwise will raise the shut-off pressure. Unscrewing the switch screw counterclockwise will lower the pump shut-off pressure.Screwing the by-pass screw in will raise the pressure at which the by-pass starts and raise the full by-pass pressure.
Unscrewing the by-pass screw counterclockwise will lower the pressure at which by-pass starts and lower the full by-pass
pressure. WARNING: If full by-pass is reached before the shut-off setting, the pump will not shut off. Full by-pass

Hi Terry

Have another look at those install instructions
Does it have a list on the left side of components?

including
pressure switch NS[Not supplied?]
meaning not supplied or could mean " NOT shown "or it could mean both

One thing is certain it is not integral to the pump, nor , it appear ,the check /non return valve

The pressure Switch is an extrenal inline fitment ,screws straight into the outlet line of the pump[as such ,is not part of the pump]
I do not know IF it is supplied with the pump or requires ordering ?

You would think finding a 24v Surflo Revolution pump would be easy enough but not so..... Plenty of 12v but no 24v's for some reason. Maybe price is over the top or something. Looks like I might just have to settle on the 12v and be done with it.

Finally got around to finding a the 24v revolution pump, supplier, Coast to Coast RV supplies. Good people to deal with, (no connection). Needs the filter, (not supplied) to cover the warranty. There are several 12v revolution pumps being offered around the place but check the models, there are 3 chamber models, these are the early models and later the 4 chamber models.

No nothing is included in the box at all, only the bare pump. Unless its incorporated in the body but don't think so from reading. I did buy an in line pressure limiter, and a one way valve and still need to buy the filter. Going to be a while before I hook it up so will update later.

Bit surprised some of the dealers had no idea what I was talking about when I mentioned model numbers. Most said, "this what you are looking for, we fit dozens of them", yeah right. Fair bit of difference in pricing between those on "special" and the later models.

it will be interesting to see if it just pumps till it pops something or if it shuts down at a certain pressure.
If you ever need to pull it appart, Noman can give you a few hints about where to store the bits Maybe he will tell you the story

According to the instructions it has its own by-pass valve within the body.

I remember reading the instructions a while back, the way it was written it appeared all the adjustments were a part of the pump, not accessories that needed to be added.
