As the saying goes, voters always get the government they deserve.

Maybe it will cull the herd, like alcohol culls the slower moving brain cells and that is why you feel smarter after a few drinks .... I think that came from the show "Friends" the postman's mate I think, but can't remember his name
It will certainly thin out the heavily populated areas and eventually Trump has to catch it if he lives what he preaches, then things might change big time. As for it destroying the economy, I don't think there was an economy to destroy in the first place, it was all numbers on screens and sheets of paper, not great housing and social conditions for all the US citizens. That is where true wealth is measured, how well are all the population traveling, not just the top few %

The next collection of voters will hopefully be smarter, it does take a flush of the gene pool to make that happen unfortunately

I was chatting to a bloke at the bottle shop and he told me this is the third time in a week I've had to buy the grog for the next two weeks, I replied it was just as well they are doubling the young man's pension eh

I don't drink any more Vik, I doubt I could if I tried ......

My quack sent me to the cardiologist to check why my blood pressure was too friggin high.

He asks all the questions, bla bla, do ya drink, yea, how much, a few reds an night, glasses, nah bottles...

That i'll do it he says... ended up in hossie (old man croaked it kidney trouble) with the old bloke next to me pi55ing in his jug splashin me bed...

did there and then, havent touched a drop since ,sons wedding and all, my god ...the pressure folk put on ya to drink FFS, BUT it's your kid wedding ...!!! Sooo...

Must say I dont miss it one bit, in fact boozin was a pain, not just the $$$, get it, get rid of the bottles, drink drive etc...beer in the luxo barge fridge, no room for grub , or need an esky
