Perennial bloopers

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Ray, I went back and looked at my first response to your original post. I'd forgotten, but I predicted the mayhem that has occurred. Look at the very small writing I inserted at the bottom of my post.

You are addressing an interesting argument about testing, Ray. South Australia started it a few days ago and Victoria has also started it. 'It' is testing thousands of people who don't have the virus. My question is; How does testing people without the virus help statistically unless you can test the entire population at the one moment? Also, we know that with the exception of a handful of virus victims in Australia who have either lost their memory or told lies (4 in SA), victims here can be traced to people who brought the virus in from overseas or caught it from someone else who did just that.

Without wishing to start warfare between the States, South Australia is now experiencing most days without new infections whilst not operating as a Police State. Certainly, some people have deservedly been issued with fines for breaching rules, however, people are not being stopped and questioned for simply driving their car and people are well able to fish, swim, play golf, drink coffee and eat in public places, provided social distancing is adhered to. Life is fair here within reasonable limitations.
