Battling the Virus

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Had a 2mt distance meeting with my friend who works at Flinders Hosp in the CSSD dept and she said they are standing around twiddling their thumbs as all theatres are closed. ?? We have a mutual friend that was due for more surgery on a brain tumour next week but it has been cancelled, it is growing so fast it is pressing on her optic nerve and is real danger of going blind, just don't understand. Most of the theatre staff have been stood down???

Had a response from S&H when I passed on your thanks.
He thanked you all for your encouragement, and finished with these ominous words:
“We have some time, but not much.”

He’s worried that Victoria might not have enough ICU-trained nurses for the coming peak of infections.
Let’s pray that we can all behave sensibly and flatten that infection curve enough so that we have sufficient nurses trained in time.
