So we are up n running.
Had an issue with a dud panel, but as we were taking the panel down, the poorly soldered connection showed itself by falling off. We resoldered.
In 36 deg heat max output per pair of panels is 21amps, a lot less than I hoped for.
Not sure if this is heat related or poorly performing panels. I have emailed the retailer. We did have a few hours under the aircon, before demand drained supply, but given it was 38 deg by then it was going to happen. The 3 way still runs better on gas, compared to 240.
Been great to be able to use the icemaker though.
The new pl40 shows a different battery voltage, no idea why but everything else matches
The underbed trauma seems to pull around 90 amps when cooling.

Quick update. Cooler weather showed an output of 66 amps total, close to what I hoped for.
Picked up a generator, brand new for 200 under rrp. Wife not going to overheat! I thought I would try the throughput of the W7 inverter charger so hooked it into the van then connected the genny to the charger end. Generator can barely cope on the charge. However was wacking in 80a out of the 70 rated, and once the battery was back to full charge, it would run the air con and kept battery full. I could not get solar output as van under cover, but I can see that with good solar input the genny can tick along a little quieter.
Will try it on higher octane in future. Its a Saber brand, weighs 24kg, and has a very easy pull action. 5 hrs running on 3l rated 1600 continuous
