You have plenty of inverter capacity, solar capacity and battery capacity to run a non inverter style fridge/freezer, so you aren't restricted as far as what fridge/freezer you buy.
If you want to run the fridge/freezer from the big inverter you have, then the inverter style isn't a "must have" but if you want to run the fridge/freezer from a small separate inverter then you will need the inverter style fridge.

Thanks Terry. Not something I was aware of though Erich was, in a round about way. If we get to Mannum in September, it might be something to talk about.

So what under bench jobs are there inverter style that would run off a 2000 inverter , Litho batts ...???

Just seem to be "Bar Fridges" that size , then ya get " caravan, camping " jobs with $300.00 tacked on da price ... :evil: :cry: :evil:

Hard to find the inverter fridge/freezers in the small cabinet size, 250ltr seems to be around the smallest. A non inverter model will still run on the 2000w inverter, they do use a little more power but it's mainly the high start up current the non inverter fridges draw that is the problem and requires a reasonable sized inverter, more than 1000w continuous output to handle the high start up load.
