They can put towels across the bottom of the doors, but they are in trouble if the water gets up to the windows ....
We are safe as long as it doesn't rise more than a few metres, but driving through Mannum might be a tad tricky .... the ferries would be above the road and difficult to drive on/off
Long Gully Road and Long Gully all the way back to the Sedan Rd could be flooded, cutting off the truckies cut through from the Sturt Hwy to the Princes Hwy at Murray Bridge ....... I guess Brian and Bruce will be able to tie up out the front of our house then

Reminds me of the old one about the fisherman who found a spot on the river where the fish were almost jumping into his tinny.
He marked an ‘X’ on the side of the boat so he could find the spot again.

Ready for another oldie?
Young lad accompanies his dad into the pub, where he partakes of a ginger beer while dad has the real thing.
Dad sends son to the bar with a barely touched glass.
Lad says to bartender, “Dad says there’s too much element in this beer.”
Bartender, “You mean ‘sediment’, son.”
Lad, “I dunno what the element, but that’s what he sediment.”
