On going joint replacement.

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Robert,
I hope all this reworking is covered by warranty!
Trouble is, you can’t send the knee back and ask for a refund! 🙄
Hoping for your sake that Surgery Part II works out better than Part I.

ps. I have never had a planned fall either. 😃
Regards & God bless,
Ray

I guess it's that problem between putting a protective case around the join while the bones knit to the new joint, and the need to exercise to stop the muscles atrophying and get them strong enough to do the supporting they are supposed to do to hold the joint in place without loading it.
Bone on bone grinding only happens when the muscles aren't strong enough to hold the joint apart. The older we get and the more joints hurt, the less we want to do the exercises required to keep the muscles around the joint strong ..... It's the muscle weakness that causes the fall, if they remain strong, they correct the tilt before it goes beyond the point of recovery ..... head spins don't help either I guess

Back home from my stay in rehab, still sore as anything but improving.

Going to do 6 weeks of 3 days at 2 hrs day out patience , 1 hr pool then 1 hr gym work. Thrust this will get me back up and moving better.

Best to every one with their own problems cheers Robert.
