Gee cleaning brisks never done that and too old to learn new tricks.
If it is wood or paint I can handle it but bricks not sure and dont want to muck it up.
I will see how quiet it gets between xmas and new year as I should be here on my own. But I have work to do on the trailer and want to clean out some stuff.
They have had me working here the naughty people. Have converted an Explosive wagon to a small tool workshop. Used some old kitchen cabinets and made shelves and benches etc. and I now have a railway gate to make and they have ear market me to restore a trike (like used in the movies) and then I have signs to write on some carriages and a loco so have plenty to do.
Regards
Brian

Hi Brian, You may remember me from Taggerty 2 ,or not, that trike you are restoring- my old boss from over in Kyneton has the original trike used in 'the Picture Show Man' and a bit of other stuff. If you need any ....... let me know and I will arrange something.
Cheers
David

My Dad worked on the railways and had a little trike that he rode to work on the rails each day, us kids would love it when he called past our school and gave us a ride home, seeing we had a 5mile walk we loved those days. Just remember kettle alway on and I promise the BOSS will not put you to work cleaning those bricks
Cheers Ros.

Thanks supersparky
Have not even set eyes on the one here so don't know what state it is in but if like most stuff here it needs a lot of work. I will love to accept your offer if there is anything I need even if it is photos if parts are missing. We would like to have some items for static display on the platform with the porters carts and sack trolly and a few containers.
A group here is trying to save some of the stuff laying around as some of the committee have gone on scrap binge and they are trying to through every thing out for scrap.
Bought a 3 phase panel saw for my sin for $199 and he is coming to pick it up. Weights nearly 500 Kgs so too big for bus. Has a large saw blade that rotates from 45 degrees to 45 degrees a moulding post for making all sorts of moulding as well as some blades, a 12 inch buzzer and a 12 inch thicknesses as well as a boring machine for making joints etc.
Ros if I get there I will do whatever is on the go. I do not interfere with what is happening, if he is cleaning bricks then I would help as I can chat and work as well and have had lots of practice.
Dot keep your dads hat and pass it on or give it to a museum as they would appreciate it.
We have a display cabinet here of memorability and a good ticket collection.
We still give a old style ticket when you book a ride, they are specially printed for us.
Regards
Brian
