We're in Bowen, and it was 16 during the day and 7 at night one night this week, plus torrential rain....but it's warming up again.

We are going to get a few old fence posts from the farm here in Bundaberg before we leave. Chuck probably as good as the Ghan sleepers we used at Niagara!

We're heading out of Cairns earlier than expected as the weather up here is unusually wet, and we are going to Tassie (they can't possible get any more rain!). Would like to make Lake Elphinstone on the way South, so please put us on the list.

Lowsy wet day up North. Sun just broke through the clouds at Tully. A few road closures at McKay, bu they shouldn't last long.

Jon if you get a chance to speak to a long living Tully local would you ask if they know of a couple by the name of Tully that moved from Beechworth to there in the early 70's, I think her name was Fay Tully & ?? Norm Tully..
