Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Mushrooms in butter on toast for breakfast.
Home-made, not the canned stuff. Yummy!
Little man in my phone tells me today will be cloudy and max 19.
Another Playpen day coming up.
BTW, Dot & George,
I have finally had time to clean the rust off all the boot lasts you found for me. Next step is spray painting them all with satin black enamel.
On our last visit to Loxton I tried (unsuccessfully) to convince one of John & Faye’s friends to exchange one of his boot lasts for some folding stuff. Reason: it was a rare branded one.
One of the lasts in the haul you found was the same brand!
THANKS LOTS! 😁

Morning everyone out there .
Massive storm hit us at 2pm yesterday we got 25mm of rain in the gauge probably more as most of it was horizontal.
Plus the power went out, looks like the pole up the road from us was disintegrated by a lightning strike
Power was resumed at 1am this morning...I guess their will be a lot of neighbors with spoilt food.
I went a put my genny on after 5 hours, So all our food was safe.

My eye feels like some one thru sand in it the am

What time did you get power back Bob?

Hellen while the G/Daughters were here we went a few time to see if the peafowl were about...but NO
Bloody male and female yesterday when I went past :? 8-)
Bernie .

Good morning everyone. We were pretty lucky with that storm. There was lightning all around for a few hours, but we only got the rain here. No hail or major damage luckily. Havent checked the gauge yet. I found a pair of Plovers with two chick's when we went up the the sandflats, had forgotten that they were so protective. Their chicks were only a few days old. Couldn't get close enough for a photo.
Look after that eye Bernie. Stay safe everybody, have a great day.
Cheers

Good morning all, rain and thunderstorms forecast from 10am till 11pm. Only one magpie came for a feed this morning, other one probably on baby sitting duties. Found two young lorikeets in the tree hollow, replacing last year's pair.

Just checked the gauge after we came home after our walk. 30mm from our yesterday afternoon rain. Its a beautiful morning, but the man says more storms this arvo.
George, thanks for reminding me about tree hollows. There is one in the park up by the jetty that usually has a young kookaburra in it around this time of year. If I remember I will check next time we are up that way.
Cheers
