Parked at the Great Western Race Course. Freight trains are already rumbling and tooting.
Sounds like being in the Hilton at Roseville CA where I counted over 100 carriages being hauled down the track.... but without the express way just below my window.

Jon is a smarter boy, he can drive a big bus, but he parks it next to a railway line, so who is smarter?

I couldn't care less what it earned, I am not impressed with who has what in their wallet. It is still a brat and I wouldn't P on it if it was on fire.

Sounds a bit like us. Flew all the way to Perth today. Just to find there is a major highway less than 100metres away.
We probably won't hear it, but I bet we hear the lift every time it goes up and down less than 5m from our door.
The joys of travelling I suppose.

Cheers

Shirley, that's a bit of a bugger. I was hoping that your team cleaned up. Maybe next year.

Shirley,
Good thing it was a bowl, not a spoon.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot, I haven't been ignoring you all, just too tired to deal with anything xxxx
His lordship has been so unwell that we have had to do some discovering and find that not all of his headaches and dizzy fits were down to covid. We have been visiting hospital, physios and quacks most days and the whole experience has been exhausting for us both.
Turns out that he has a brain injury. Amazing, thing to find out, about 4 weeks after the event. He bent down to pick up a peg that fell under a clothesline and whacked his head. Not your regular hill hoist, but a caravan park one. Made of steel pipes that are cemented into the ground and have pipe welded together at the top in a T shape. Of course, he hit the crossed bar. He said it hurt at the time, but didn't think much about it as we then had the positive covid diagnosis and as he got weirder and sicker, more investigations have been done.
After an MRI to discover this, we have been to see so many fancy doc and things that we just need to sleep or rest most of the time.
Dot stay warm and Shirley, your almost a win was still a good thing. You were out doing something you enjoy with nice people. Glad you had some good results to brag about.
