"tanks"here---p
What a night! I missed out on my 'Nanna Nap' today after watching the English Business ALL night and through the early morning hours.
I have just watched 2 sessions of Dame Judy Dent "As Time goes by", and now I'm fighting to keep my eyes open to watch Midsomer Murders. The thing is every time my eyes close, I can't see anything so I may as well go to bed.
Good night all.
Keith.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Enjoy the royal viewing then Dot. xxxx
Sorry no pics yet. The bowl is definitely different and will go up for sale next week (hopefully).
Now that some clown has declared next Thursday is a public holiday, it has stuffed up our plans greatly. We had planned to travel to the showground on Thursday to be set up in the van the day before we have to set up the tables. To avoid super traffic snarls, we may have to set up the van on Wednesday instead. Time will tell.

I reckon a 4 day holiday will be a ripper of an economic boost. Lots are talking about getting away.

Dot---
I watched the parade from my bed and then I couldn't close my eyes, so I went back to the lounge room and watched the big TV for more of what went on over there. It is now Thursday, and the Wheelie Bin truck is due soon. I'm just shedding a tear for Major as I write this as it is now one week since he was put to sleep, and he won't be with me to watch the truck.
It is also one week since my Queen died so it's a sad day here in the Dysart Bunker.

Still waving that old Union Jack, Dot
? xxxx
Keith, thinking of you mate xxxx
Today I had to take his nibs to have a CT scan. It was done very quickly and we went straight home. As soon as I made a coffee, the GP was on the phone with results. Another of the docs in the practice wrote out the request for the Ct and didn't ask for a comparison with the previous MRI. The results suggest that he is improving, but our GP wanted to see the comparison done. So he will have that done Monday morning and we will visit for those results late Monday afternoon. I can see quite an improvement in his nibs, so the stress is getting easier now.
I have the kiln man coming tomorrow to fix my new/bigger kiln. Only been waiting for 3 months. Anyways, he is coming tomorrow, at last. I spent the morning cleaning the shed, so that the man has room to put his tools and has space to operate on the kiln. It's really a tiny shed, so I hope he has enough room to move and do the things that he needs to do. He has relays and elements to replace. I do hope that this is the answer.

Gee Dot, your hands don't look real perty mate. You take care huh? xxxx
The kiln man came today, spent a couple of hours fiddling and replacing bits. He says it's fixed. As soon as he left. I built up a couple of wine bottles to get flattened and started her up. (she is very temperamental, so yep, kiln is a she). I will know if the repair was worth it in the morning. It would be finished about now, but I am not going down to the shed in the pouring rain at night.
I had a friend drop by to buy a pendant set for a birthday present. She came in last week to buy similar and each time she left with a pendant and earring set for $80. She chose a spikey pendant last week and I decided to make a few more to fill in the gaps on the display case, and knowing that she was coming back today was a good incentive. Fired them Thursday and glued the metal bails on yesterday, so ready for sale today. She chose one of the new ones, so well worth the rushed effort. As the old kiln only cooks 6 of these at a time, I had been putting it off until the bigger kiln is available. These pendants sold really well at Mudgee at Easter, but then not one sold at Lightning Ridge. I can never really predict what will sell at any festival. Fingers crossed that we can get to Hawkesbury next week. Medical and weather are the only things holding us up now.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Hope you continue to get that feeling back Dot. xxxx
No pics of plate, too difficult and not wanting to go out in the humungous winds to take any pics. Maybe one day soon.
I had success with the wine bottles in the kiln, nicely flattened. Tonight they are getting bent over some square chalk to from their handles. So nice to have some room to move in the kiln. Until I actually manage to sell a fair bit of stuff, I am hesitant to keep making so much stuff. I will continue with the bottles and a few random things, just until the boxes of unsold stock start to feel a bit closer to empty.
I spent a lot of time making up new price tags, with slightly higher prices for some things. This may have to drop, if nothing sells at the higher prices, but I don't think it will really effect anything, except my pocket. I can't keep charging silly prices and not have the money to refill the shelves with new glass.
