OK, well I reckon i would hit it with heaps of WD40 or similar, then hit the starter a couple of times, just to rock it back and forward like??

Bernie is there a join on it at all? (centre bit)
It looks like the taperlock pulleys I've seen & used on irrigation pumps and engines.
Lots of penetrene & a piece of 3" pipe that fits just outside the taper bit & a few wacks with a sledge hammer might see it "pop".
Has to be square on with equal all around for it to let go.
On the ones I used there were 2 threaded holes for bolts through a plate over the centre shaft.
It may be different .... I can't see it as you can!

Quicker than our job, unable to even see the repairer until next Wednesday.

Well done Bernie.

Well he's only taking bits off to get to the job so far...
If he's anything like me, by the time I've done the job I either can't find the bits that came off, or I can't remember how they go back on.
Cheers,

I thought you were putting the feet up cause it was beer o'clock? Was there a square key as a locator or a half moon key in the shaft?

Bernie
how tight was the nut?
Did you have a lot of trouble?
When assembling they say to use grease on the thread.
Terry, the manual sort of shows no key-way on the pulley. Just a key on the gear driving the timing gears.
