Thanks Tanks, the sky is another shade of grey this evening so we may get some of your rain. We have had the best weather for the past week. Noticed today the cherry tree has some rust-colored curly leaf starting so a leaf of two is off to the nursery people in the morning. George and I armed ourselves with a broom (my day vehicle) and a stick to get Norman off the old egg to see if there were any new ones, he was very confrontational to say the least Heard that there had been a lot of snake bites over the past few days so let it be a warning to all those slippery wriggly sticks not to arrive on my property or else.. Thank you everyone for your kind wishes, it has been lonely in a big bed all alone. As I was eating breakfast, the phone rang. After a visit from the surgeon, his lordship has been offered parole. We were expecting him to stay until Monday at the earliest. Never look a gift horse. So I drove the hour trip to the hospital, on speed trap alert and now have him home again. He certainly has made a miraculous recovery and I am sure that my relief is visible. We will both sleep a lot better tonight.

I have been busy contacting so many friends and family with the good news, that it's been a busy afternoon. Obviously the joy from the phone calls was a huge relief.

We have had a couple of shitzus and as they aged I would often say that the zoo was worn out and we just had some sh**s left, so this cartoon is very close to us.

Deborah, such good news for you both so enjoy your big bed together. One thing, do not stay awake all night listening to him breathing.
Still waiting for the rain to come so far 0. May as well tell you lot what the subject last night was with my M8 in NZ. She was badly burnt with boiling water on her chest as a child and has had some surgery to release some of the scarring but needs more. Her boobs are giving her hell and she is considering a reduction and the subject of weight of them came about she decided that we should weight our boobs with the flat scales like the mammogram machine, with this all I could do was laugh and laugh until I had to tell her I am hanging up now because my gut hurts and I need to pee. Ph called ended. Anyway time for bed so Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Chuck x
