Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Fabulous pics George keep em coming please. I am overtired after a big day of more sorting. George is going earlier than me (to the block) in a few hrs time and I will follow when I wake up, decided to give washing the curtains a go rather than spend hundreds, if they turn out buggered well it is too bad. I have one big one to go so I may have to take that one to a laundromat. The op shop in Birdwood is going to love me tomorrow . OK I must try to get to sleep so Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Bobk x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Tonight, I am absolutely buggered, took a totally full car of stuff mainly linen to the block, G had already got there with car and trailer full, he had put his loads away and then did my lot as I got there about an hr after him. Couldn't believe those plovers were still there, I thought bird's eggs only took a month to hatch?? They would know if they were viable or not, I would think. Had a little catch-up chat with HTFFBO this Arvo, she is doing AOK. Has anyone heard anything of Wayne and Nini? Hope everyone is keeping dry, and the sickies are improving. How are the bowls going Shirley or have you finished for the year? Hope your next market is fruitful and no unexpected sickies, Goodnight everyone x
Goodnight Annette & Darryl x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot, does the block have some sort of shed on it? I thought it was just a block.
Plovers are not real clever. If their eggs don't hatch or get eaten or destroyed they will just lay some more in exactly the same spot. Saw that scenario many times when I was working.
I did see that Wayne or Nini had posted on the CxxA forum a little while back.

Dot, don't get too upset if your curtains turn into shredded messes. I got my last lot, super cheap, from the hammer shop. It was unexpected to find curtains there, but they have been great. xxxx
George those photos are wonderful. The stained glass windows are a work of art, well and truly.
Had a very long Progress Christmas party last night, we had a lot of good stuff to celebrate.
This morning the pres of the progress rang. We have been trying to organise some town library boxes. The men's shed build three for us (took em 18 months and cost us $100 each box) they delivered them to the school, where a select group of kids was going to decorate/paint them. After two months, the job is still incomplete. You will never guess, who is going to finish the majority of the painting? Not until January anyway and one of the ladies will "help" me in the process. That could be interesting, a Malteser doing aboriginal dot paintings?
We are very good friends, so I suspect it will be a paint n giggle session.
Just doing some christmas prepration stuff at the moment, so not a lot to share.
night all xxx

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Great photos again George, NBN last night reported that Scotland was experiencing really cold weather, been a decade since the weather had been so cold, thought of you, Julie & Leonie.
Tomorrow is our Christmas breakup party Dot, I am going as an Elf, always heaps of fun, we bowl for a couple of hours, with the opposite hand, eyes closed, with the opposition's bowls & anyother mad things that they can think up then we come in for lunch, after which we spend the arvo having fun.
Saturday I am playing in the semi final of the mixed fours, it's late owing to the men playing in state events, final will be played next year.
Good night everyone, talked Bruce into watching The Crown on Netflix, it's a history lesson.
