Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Not such a good morning here. My son, Sean, had an accident in Julie's 2000 Pulsar on his way to work, still driveable but with it being insured for $3100 with an under 25yo excess of $1195 it will undoubtedly be a write-off, which is a shame because otherwise it is in near perfect condition. :(

Tanks, I had a look at You Tube for your song, there are several beautiful versions, sung by male and female. I see Peter has a link up.
George, lucky the young bloke is ok, its just a car.
Bernie, good luck with the console.
Cheers

"tanks" here---
Yes, thanks Peter,
I enjoyed listening to the Wolfe Tones version, and also the Irish Rebel song "Wearing of the Green" which was another song my mum sang to me. While I think about it the "Ferryboat Serenade" was another tune that I recall.
I'd like to board a ferry, where music is so merry. There's a man who plays a da da da da and so on.
Keith.

I plan to have another birthday next year.

Sorry about the car George! I presume it was his fault? If so I'm guessing the other vehicle owner will claim on your insurance so the under 25 will still apply?
If it was the other party's fault just claim against them?
Days are shorter, summer is close to finished, good living & working weather!

Unfortunately Bruce, Sean was at fault, very little damage to other vehicle but our insurance will have to wear the cost re both cars. Sean was on his way to work at 6:30 when it happened and tried to ring me but I was fast asleep. he managed to call Julie just as she was leaving the Gym and she was able to drive him to work. Then, Julie came home just as I was getting out of bed and we went to retrieve the car which fortunately, was still driveable. Now have to contact the preferred panel beater and insurance company after picking Sean up from work.

Definitely good Sean is ok George, they might repair the car being in good condition.

We've had light showers here today, did get the bowls finished managed to get to 13-13 before coming off yet again, ended up getting to 24-24, managed to hit & stay with the jack moving it back near my other bowl, then Beryl comes thru hits my bowl & sits on the jack, I bowl & hit her bowl off, jack sits between two bowls but her bowl is a fraction close, went down 24-25, better luck next year.
