Wow what a mongrel of a day and another expected tomorrow. So draining this heat is. Took Brian to the vet at noon, as usual he impressed the vet with his perfect manners. He had his yearly jabs his ears cleaned, teeth checked ,weight 5.4kg Going back in 3 weeks for his usual worming. Turned the air con on at 5pm and have just turned it off and just have the ceiling fans going.. Watched the Wellington correctional Center and the riot that went on. What a mob of rejects, personally the guards should be permitted to shoot the mongrels in the leg at least, if a bullet goes astray and kills them then so be it. . Off for a shower now then to try to sleep. Keep your fluids up everyone and keep cool Goodnight every one x Goodnight Bernie x

Yesterday was meant to be lift off day for the caravan, but no way. The rain was deluging and the winds were not nice. We simultaneously decided that it was not nice weather to warrant going anywhere. We stayed home and chilled. I did a lot of computer things that needed to be done and now the hard stuff has been sorted.

Today, we went ahead with yesterday's real plans. His lordship did brilliantly on the hardest part of any caravan trip' He navigated the narrow steep drive with no real problems. The van knocked of a branch of the neighbours frangipani tree, but hey it must have been on our side of the fence. I nicely threw the branch back over the fence. The best part was that the three fruits that are hanging on the dragon fruit cactus are still there hanging over the driveway. They may even be closer to ripe when we return next week.

We made it safely to Belmont. The forty minute drive was no hassles at all. Setting up was very slow, as both of us were pushing to remember what things needed to be done. It's been a long time since last September when we last used the van. It was last June when we went to our last jayco rally and it was really wonderful to meet up with some very close friends, who we have only been able to talk online or phone for so long..

Brian is a good boy at the vets always has been, never snarled or hissed but he does object to the up yu bum thing Dam hot today, and everything suffered for it, trees wilted and birds in the trees had their beaks open and their wings stretched out. Luckily the cooler change started to come in so George and I went outside armed with chainsaw, clippers and things to attack next doors trees that were encroaching over the fence. It felt so good chucking all the off cuts back on their side . Same as people with dogs continual barking, cats coming over and using our place as a toilet, if you want trees in your yard then keep them under control. Another tree is going to get "the treatment" soon. It was rather hot last night but the doors and windows were opened up and the ceiling fan was going so we slept as normal. Plums are all finished now and tomatoes are still producing, beans and cucumbers are doing a good job of growing as well and the apples are getting close to being ripe. OMG turned tv on earlier and hello there was a show about "late lesbians" that got turned off very quickly. Get hooked up and out of there Deborah and enjoy time with those other Jaco peeps. It seems that the Aboriginal Broadcasting Corporation has morphed into the Queer Broadcasting Corporation.
We’re getting it shoved in our face every time we switch to Ch2 or 24!!!
Not even going to bother with the ABC news tonight… the Poofter Extravaganza apparently starts tonight.
And… the QBC is promoting a new show on queers starting sometime soon. Won’t be watching THAT, either!

Good one Bernie It was a show about women (older) deciding after male marriages that they liked women better and so went for the female .One of the women had been married twice to a male There must be something in the water seems the happy ones are overtaking us. I must be happy as I think KD Lang is fantastic, hmm I wonder. There was another show after that one something about virgin lesbians but sadly I wasn't interested, and I do find that stuff yucky and a tad embarrassing.

The intro told most of the story. I had to watch to see who and what was with who and what. Might be able to turn for the right one eg K D Lang if she sang to me but think I would turn back after the singing finished and the whatever started. Q/ Why do some of the "women" have to look like a man? and others stay looking like women??? .Guess I will never know. A much better day today after the rain over night glad the next week is looking cooler, have a busy week as well. Tonight I had some very tender chicken with a bit of salad stuff, think it is custard and plums coming up for pudding. My Hoyas are growing like weeds but I wish they would flower. . Sorted some more stuff today after a month or so of nil, op shop stuff, keep stuff and chuck stuff. Only a few box's done but it all helps. Watched the OLJ memorial, her husb gave a beautiful insight of their life together, hope I get one half that nice I got through a nice ham salad tonight It looked lovely. Looking forward to the coming week of cooler weather as a few trips to city again. Bed e buys is in sight so stay safe and healthy . Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Riverlander x
