Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!
Ham salad? Dot that's almost a normal diet. Well done xxxx
We have been having huge winds at Belmont and the receptions has not been good. The get together however has been great. This was a good trial before heading off next week for a bit further afield.
During Friday night, we started to experience power cutoffs every two hours. Finally we put the fridge over to gas for safety and then we started investigating. After several of our sparky members had a good look over the van, one came up with checking the circuit breaker box. A few thousand ants fell out as soon as the screws were undone. The hordes of ants were removed, the whole area was drenched in surface spray and put back together again. No more switches turning off the power. I will try to get a local sparky to replace the box when we get home.
It has been really wonderful catching up with our jayco mob but tomorrow, we have to return to the lair. More adventures coming up soon.
Hi Deb glad to here you managed a short trip, better than none.
When the new fridge is in we will do another shake down trip. Have a breathing specialist to see end of March then would like to do a month or two away.
Dot glad to hear you are back into it and also enjoying some food. Will try to catch up soon.
Enjoying the cool weather so stay safe folks cheers Robert

Doing too much in this heat Dot or just asleep in the chair? xxxx
We drove the whole twenty minutes to home with no problems, so that has been a big boost to the confidence for us both.
As soon as we arrived home, I texted a local sparkie with pics of the breaker box that was needed. He was at our house, even before we had the van fully emptied. Took him all of twenty minutes and then only charged us a hundred dollars. Our usual sparkie has been getting a bit hard to get hold off and cranky, so this young man was chosen off our local f**kbook page. As he is doing most of his work in our town, he is good to get a hold of and will be getting a few more jobs from us when we return after Easter.
Not hot at all down here Deborah, high 20's but lovely for a change. Repotted a few palms and will flog them off My Hoya's are like the triffids growing like weeds. G cleaned and painted a few of his aunty's concrete pots, geeze they are heavy. Raked up heaps of next doors gum leaves again think a drink of something will be given soon. G has his bone scan tomorrow but I am staying home for some me time. I have got the physio on Wednesday and Oncologist Friday, Always something. My M8 in NZ said they are expecting a cyclone to hit next. I went through Cyclone Bola in 1986 (from memory) Because my place was so well protected by the native bush I hardly knew what was happening. My X managed to get to me via some back roads as boats were blown over the road (on the shore line) and trees were down over the road and power/phone was out but I had the good old chippy for hot water and cooking so I was ok. So warm and cosy inside with the 4 Dobermans. 3 cats, 1 canary and 1 sheep I could not get to work for a week so I enjoyed the Cyclone . Hope all you sickies are doing better. Have a good market Deborah and well done on the confidence trip. Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Chuck, x I promise not to chuck your junk out but I will and did chucked your shit out
Queen of the Banal & OT chatter and proud of it. If it offends you then tough titty titty bang bang.
Ahh Dot, such lovely words you manage to put together...& best of all - aimed at lil'ol',me.
My heart is just fluttering.
My mind is simply scrambled.
My..um...lower anatomical area is just about to .... oooh, gotta run to the dunny.
G had his bone scan today and I stayed home just plodding around the place putting more "keep" things aside. Took some of G;s aunty's brand new bone handled knives, forks , spoons etc (6 of each ) still in original wrapping in their boxes and got $120. Better than O I guess, but they got a good deal. Dam cat from over the back was peeing in the yard so it got a lemon thrown at it, missed by miles but it got the message. I am off to my physio tomorrow and leaving the G man at home to get some of the bus things sorted before we get moving as soon as we can. It has been great this week weather wise hope it continues as is. This temp suits me down to the ground. I am getting more confused with the jd story every time he does another chapter, I see Nigel has not come into it yet... Time to say Goodnight everyone x Goodnight Deborah x

Lucky you to be able to get buyers for your antiques Dot. Keep it up xxxx
We had a bit of an adventure today. It's time to renew my working with children check (I think it's 5 years since the last). I only keep it going so that I can be seen to be safe when doing activities with the jayco kids. Anyway, all the documents have to be sighted at the government office at Toukley. I took them down and low and behold, the very aged and rumpled birth certificate is not enough. It has a different name than the one I have used for the last fifty years. Bugga me, we came home and I found the church certificate, but no, I remember it is not a legal document. I had to fish out the government issued one. We will deliver them all later in the week. Never had a passport, so can't use that either.
Next was a bit of grocery shopping followed by some scripts from the chemist. Some of our drugs have gone up by $20 and that aint fair or funny. As the next couple of lots of drugs will come from chemists out of town, the prices will be looked at very carefully. The only good thing was that we have qualified to have some of our drugs for free...whoopee. That's only if we choose to take the fake unbranded ones that the gov demands we use. Most of mine are brand sensitive and I really have no choice, so it's still an expensive visit once a month.
Deborah know what you mean about the cost of drugs, went and got a script done for Molly and it is now $50 a hit. We have several just over the $40 mark so it is becoming expensive.
'tanks' here---
Well, I watched Mrs. Brown's Boys and then a bit of Foyles War through my left eye.
I may as well hit the bed and use both eyes to watch nothing.
I have to be in my best condition for observing the wheelie bin truck perform its magic tomorrow morning.
Good night all.
Keith.
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.
