The newsletter must only go to a selected few perhaps?
Any chance of seeing the photo & the list of moderators?
Privately if you MUST!
Sorry - was out of communication range when you asked, but I see that someone has shown the photo (which doesn't really name names at all!)

Are you the new moderator on the CMCA forum?
Could it simply be coincidence that as of today or yesterday that Iza is no longer showing as an AMH team member?

I guess we wait & see?
My thoughts were that if they really wished to start afresh they'd probably not have anyone from any existing (alternative) forum.
It probably doesn't matter really because it will be BOTH the moderators as well as the members of the forum who must agree to the conditions.
From my understanding it's VERY strict guidelines on what is and isn't allowed on the forum if/when it opens.
It's a big gamble by the board....

Hope the gamble pays off, the CMCA needs to have a forum, the original forum should never of been closed IMO, it was a good forum.

Hope this a forum doesn’t shut down, as it's the only one I'm on and will never rejoin CMCA, it's a dictatorial corporation, not a club, so members get no say on anything.
The best type of club for travelling people from around the country would be an on line one, where everyone has a say and vote, as well as chooses the moderators. No need for a board or expensive staff, just lots of online members who could make a huge difference and be able to address things instantly, instead of once a year, is the only democratic approach that would actually represent the members in this 21st century. That's how our governments should also be run, by the people on line in a referendum style government

I notice the newsletter does not name names. If I was going to be a moderator, I would leave it up to the CMCA to disclose terms, conditions, and who might be involved in the relaunched forum.

Iza
I guess that means you don’t intend to answer the question then ‘Iza’.
If the CMCA were to announce the names of their moderators I would expect they would use ‘real’ names, not pseudonyms.
Wouldn’t it be interesting if a moderator had been selected on the basis of an application using their real name & without their prior pseudonym history having been declared?
