Good morning all. Another warm one coming up. Helen, work is progressing slowly. The tiler will finish grouting the bathroom tomorrow and the vinyl plank flooring will be laid on Monday. That will make things feel a lot more normal - no more sticking to the floor when we walk in places without random mats and carpet offcuts!
Got a pleasant surprise yesterday when we received our water meter reading. I was expecting a bill as the failed tap had been gushing water for a number of days. Our allowance is 15kl per month but fortunately over the 4 month period our reading was 53kl, so no extra charge for us. Phew!! The insurance company won’t pay anything towards the cause of the claim, just the damage caused. We even got reimbursed for the extra electricity used by the hot air blowers and dehumidifiers used over the six days drying out the house. Happy with that.
Enjoy your day everyone.
Good morning daily

I am pesentely reading Judy Nunn's - "HERITAGE", and I have reached page 35.
This should be compulsory reading for all refugees that come to Australia.

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone. I thought that you might have needed an umbrella as well Bob. We had more heavy rain here overnight. Looks like it has moved south now. Nothing much else to report today. Safe travels, have a great day.
Edit. It is 7.15 now and 85mm in our gauge. Still raining here but getting patchy.

Re: Good morning daily
Morning folks some nice light rain last night for a few hours. Unexpected as none was forecast until Saturday.
Received my first loco this week and now a trip up north to have the correct DCC chip installed so it will have sound. At present trying to finish the rose garden but very slow due to the back.
Bowls on tonight which is the final of out night owls series, been fun while it has been on even if I did miss a few game.
Take care and enjoy the day. Cheers Robert

I hear that the Victoria Andrews bloke has fractured his T-7, and is on pain medication and being considered for possible corrective surgery.
When I was in hospital with my T-7 fracture the pain meds made me badly constipated.
Won't be a concern for Andrews because he is full of s*** already, and the "ortha pod" surgeon might not operate in case he lets the hot air out when Andrews is under the knife. Could always close the borders again.
Keith.
