"tsnks"
I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Biscuit crumbs Bernie. Turn it off, turn it upside down with the lid open & swipe back & forth on the key board, tap(bang?) on the back of the laptop, shake it, rattle the keys again etc etc.
If it's got beer, coffee or rum spilt on it you can pop the keyboard out & wash it in the kitchen sink. They are water proof.

Good morning all on this perfect day here at Rothwell . Must have forgot to hit submit yesterday Bob & Bernie because I said I would be up with hot scones for a cuppa. Ah well, into the freezer they go. He will have one a day for cuppa until all gone.

Re: Good morning daily
Bruce,
I discovered the hard way that Apple pooter keyboards are definitely NOT red-wine-proof.

Cost me a new pooter... and no insurance cover.
At least our local Apple agency was able to transfer all my data from the old hard drive to the new one.

Re: Good morning daily
"tanks" here---
Well---The Emerald Hospital trip on Wednesday was a journey to remember. WOT !! Two Seafood Footlong SUBWAYS in one day. For a long period of time it was not possible to purchase a SUBWAY in Queensland for an undisclosed reason. Now the treat is again available; at least it is at Emerald Subway store. Pensioners discount is also granted to those who look the part. The walking stick for balance is of great assistance in showing that you are a member of the “Over Eighty Brigade”.
The 135 km drive each way played havoc with the previous existing back injuries, compressed fractures of the spine ( C4, T7, L1, L2, L3. ) and I will suffer for some weeks 'till everything shakes back into a position where it is comfortable. The venture with appointment time and the return travel was a seven and a half hour experience. I have another 5 “sessions” over the next 4 or 5 months to look forward to - - - -ahh SUBWAY !.
I am going to have morning tea with the 'girls' at Community Care today and I have baked a sultana loaf cake to take with me to soften the matter that I will raise. It appears that the porson/persons charged with the responsibility of my financial outlay under the Home Care Package has had very little accounting qualification, or indeed, not even basic bookkeeping knowledge; so “tanks” is inviting himself to morning tea with cake in hand to start out in the right friendly frame of mind and cooperation before the lesson in 1 + 1 = 2, and not (-)3. I will make my point known and await the next monthly statement.
Now folks, it is 5:20 am and the cuppa has gone cold while I have been composing this missive, so off to the kitchen and get a hot cuppa on the go, and get a posting on the Forum before Bernie2Q beats me to it.
Keith.

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone. It was another top day, weather wise, here on the sunny GC. An old workmate sent me a pic of all his breeding stock up on the home paddock. The local floods up on the Logan River were about to test the swimming ability of the little ones. It looks like flood levels are dropping so we should be able to head south on Monday sometime. Safe travels everybody, have a great day.
Glad you enjoyed your sub Keith. At least that gives you something to look forward to.
