Haven't you seen the tv ad where the dog gets covered in mud, the stop at the next town at a dog groomers and the dog and the bloke come back out looking sparkly and well trimmed, the bloke says "They had a two for one sale"RobertNotBob wrote: ↑Tue Apr 20, 2021 7:50 am Morning all 18c tops today with morning showers. First day in a long time with no appointments so a relaxing day was planned but not happening.
Having a bitch bear with me, woke this morning to such intense pain in the back took over ten minutes to just roll over and sit up. A couple of pain relief which is doing sweet fanny adams of nothing. Slow painful walk to the lounge room heading to the kitchen but got no further because of the pain.
Settled in my chair with the good wife doing ma a coffee. Slightest movement is bad and can not get fully comfortable. Life is a bitch some times.
MRI tomorrow and maybe they can find some way to assist. End of whinge.
On a lighter note I had a phone call from the bowling club yesterday that I had won 4th prize in the yearly raffle. A $250 pet pamper pack for a bloke who does not own a pet. Last year I won a pair of safety boots which I just sold so this one will head to market place as well.
Have a great day folks and stay safe cheers Robert
As far as the back pain, ask the doctor to prescribe Norflex, they are a muscle relax drug that work in conjunction with the panodol osteo ease and stop the muscle cramps that cause the massive pain and lock up. Must have been a back day yesterday, I did something or other to my back where it was injured in the MVA, just below the shoulder blades, couldn't go home to lie down till it passed because I was dog sitting and Brian's Jack Russel is just a bit much for the cat, so I couldn't take them home with me.
Raining here in Upper Mannum and it was coming down fairly solid at the house when we left, so the tanks will fill up again and the gutters will dump more Mannum mud into the tanks for me to clean out next time I have a spare day or three.

Re: Good morning daily
Good morning everyone. I had the best nights sleep last night at my daughters. It looks like we fixed the Suzy without a massive bill. It is amazing what you can do if you have access to an old school mechanical shop and a good mate with all the right contacts. I hope all our members that have been quiet lately are safe and well. Happy hump day everybody.
Cheers

Re: Good morning daily
"tanks" here---
Still hanging about and keeping a check on you all each day.
What was the rattle in the Winnie Bernie.
Did you bolt the generator down when you got it back in place
The stove top used to rattle a bit, but I used to fold a towel and place it on the top under the glass. Also, the bits I had stored in the microwave rattled a bit.
Nothing much to report from the Bunker except we had overnight showers, enough to wake me, or was it Major trying to tell me something. There is only 2 ml in the ramp gauge so not worth the walk to the back yard to check the gauge down there.
Untill the next time---it's good morning all, from me.
Keith.

I'm now 87 years old, having experienced another birthday, and I'm still living in WA, single (gave up looking), white hair, no teeth, no money, no worries.
I plan to have another birthday next year.

Morning everyone. Good to see major looking after you Keith. The stove rattle was easy... main noise was the fly screen in the entry.
Off to the big smoke today... gotta get some beer
