The Durack & Emanuel families drove a herd from the channel country Qld., thru the Territory to east W.A.?

Interesting history too. :D

The 1883-86 expedition drove between Goulburn up through QLD across NT to Fossill Downs WA.

Charlie & Willie MacDonald set out from Goulburn but appears neither of them travelled the whole distance, very interesting story, makes one realise how little we were taught about Australian history at school.
Also interesting many of the family names mentioned, names that are still connected with W.A. today.

Sad news re your life long friend Kay, upsetting for his family & the present situation Australia wide just makes an already sad time worse for anyone loosing someone dear to them.
