I have the same info re- the rattle pump as bagman , also direct from repairer NOT to connect direct 12v to pump .
A quick two second touch to confirm pump does work no more or pump will be damaged .
All sounds good in theory Terry but just getting to the top of tank in mine is a job in its self .
As others are doing what I want and works for them it should work for me , drawing from either the supplied tank or the main bus tank should be no different a tank is a tank , and now not even drawing as far as before the fuel line is about 5 foot less distance to go then it was .
Bernie .
What did you do to your rig today?

Bernie, I can't think of any reason, apart from it sucking air, that would cause it to not pump. If the main runs you would expect there to be no air leak. Below is from the Eberspacher installation manual showing fuel pickup options including exactly as you have done

Note this section on joining hoses to T pieces, could be an air lock on one of the joints. I know mine will prime the pump from an empty fuel line

Re: What did you do to your rig today?
Well long story I got annex of ebay for free YEP free old mate who was selling it gave it to me as I was the only one who asked questions about it . So he just said Bernie if you want it its yours .Rang nephew who lived near old mate told him to get him a carton of beer end of first stage of story .
NOW what did we do to our rig today ? My boss of almost 49 years (next Friday) and my self we made the annex fit the awning . The annexe walls had zipper along the top so wouldn't go into the rope track on the awning roller . So yesterday we sat and unpicked the zipper and today we sewed the new rope pull thingo onto the top along with about 3" of extra canvas . Tomorrow we will do one of the ends they're a bit harder because of the different height next to the bus . Any way a cuppla pics plus one for Bruce who missed out on seeing our resident goanna when he was here .

Seems what is upstream or downstream has been misinterpreted in the Chinglish manual?
Should be good now we hope!
Lovely Goanna!! I bet he was coming to inspect the new awning!!
Be a good awning in Canada? NO snow going to stay up on that sucker!!!
I hope he doesn't eat those green tree frogs!

You're still going to get wet between the bus door and the annexe.

George I think the main use is going to be the annual camp in a CP with the Grandkids. Keep 'em as far away from the door as you can!!!!
The 'walking stick' people will be in the bus!!
If they keep breeding as in the past he might need another on the other side too!!! (it's in the blood!)

Injectors back in, rocker cover replaced, engine started, haven't a clue when I'll get to test it.
