So far no communications from creeps. The thought of painting a bathroom , sounds like the too hard basket to me. His nibs would do it in a flash... a very slow flash, but he would do it. Today was a doc day. Had a couple of bumpy bumps cut off my bum, very ouchy, not nice. But all done now. She expects the diagnostic bits that she sliced off, should be enough to get it out completely...non cancerous, but had to be removed. Ouchy.

Today was set up the stall day. It really took forever, but all sorted. We added a couple of the caravan tables to the mix. I really should buy more space from the show organisers, but I just can't afford it. After all than, we are both exhausted. As it's an hour away, we do have an early start in the morning, not impressed at that thought. Anyway, we will be there in time, all going well.

ESSENDON has restored my faith,, we won. . Did nothing much except to hear G's GP said that he had not got the results of G's blood and urine tests done last Sunday at 0200hrs so I rang A&E and asked which lab the specs were sent to then I rang the lab. Told the girl what was going on or not going on so asked her to resend them to both GP and specialist again as she said their files show they had been sent What a slack system. Will ring GP's again tomorrow to follow up. Nothing in the trap last night. Gman is going ok but I am surprised he is having trouble sleeping on his side, I put him in the prego women's or an abdo surgery position ( on his side with a soft pillow under his tummy and one between his knees, he said it was better than on his back. Another slow lazy done nil day, G's fault as he didn't wake me up and Brian was so comfy all snuggled up next to me. Trap reset with fresh meat. What the hell is the matter these days with people? G man seems to be better than yesterday, he sees the specialist on Wednesday so I intend to get some answers. BOB back on tomorrow night. AJ appointment tomorrow , she has been under great pressure this past week with the person she thinks is her grandaughter?? The child has carers 24/7 and this past week the child has threatened one carer with a knife, then tipped a glass of water over the carers head then she was found in the carers room holding a pr of scissors. That kid is a result of drug and booze when she was born to her indig mother and AJ's druggie boozed son also living in the parklands. AJ took the kid and with all it's mental issues it became dangerous for her to live with AJ (knives) There is no one to help and so it is time to give up her guardianship of the kid. Personally I say the kid should be done for attempted murder and assault and locked away. No dna was done when the kid was born I will be pushing again for that to be done. Dot, you are having as much luck with test results as I am having with Chinamen. This time, his response was to send me questionable document with instructions on how to use said vaccuum. He has now been sent a very carefully worded reply explaining that he was trying to scam people and this is not enough to shut me up. Time will tell. xxxx

Sales today were dismal. There were plenty of people. just not people who were spending money. I am hoping that some of them have gone home and thought about my stuff and will return tomorrow to buy the things they really wanted (fingers crossed). The early start was not too bad and we managed to be on site before we needed to be. That was impressive for us.

Had a treatment with AJ this morning and lots of laughs as expected and at other people's expense mainly mine. She got my foot 1 x 1and my big toe nearly went up her nose wow did she hit the right places. George was just outside locking his shed up and came in telling me next doors cat was coming up out driveway so some nice fresh kangaroo from Brians bowl has now been placed in the trap awaiting it's arrival. I knew they would keep it in for a few days after G spoke to them so I was right. AJ gave me a big bunch of carrot seedlings, apparently, they are little round ones like tom thumb tomatoes, she said they are very sweet so I planted out about 60 and gave the rest to our neighbors out the back as they are really good with their fruit and vegs and eggs How was that creepy O.J. Simpson making his family that came to see him die to sign a non disclosure thing for after he snuffed. Hope that creep went to the never never or somewhere rotten. Hope your sales improved Deborah but relax and enjoy. Friends of ours have ordered their new caravan but not having a grey water tank but having extra good water tank. Just did some washing today and nothing else. Confusion rules over the sale of block. Have got from Agent, fixed $$ fee on sale price. Not %. ? So if you get a price of say $300k agent gets his fixed price of say $7k BUT if you get $ 250k he still gets his fixed fee of $7k. So should you haggle a % fee ?? Salesmen are all the same to me. Any agents amongst us? Terry where are all these improvement pics of the bus or are you fibbing on what you are doing? Cat trap reset for tonight. Coolish again but not bad enough for the air con. Your kiln would be a nice place to be on nights like these Deborah. Dot, a lot of real estate sales are done for a fixed fee now. With the ever increasing price of real estate it has become, almost standard, to have them conduct your sale for a set fee. They make a lot of money for not a real lot of work anyway.
Try to not kick George too much, the poor fella has had a bit of a rough trot lately.

Dot, if you give estate agents a fixed fee, they have no incentive to get you the best price. Just any sale will do in their minds, so it is probably in your best interests to have it noted that you will pay no commission if he doesn't get you the price that you want. Just my thoughts, may not even be legal... xxxx

Had the worst day yesterday. I sold a card of 4 bobby pins and nothing else. There was a bit of competition in the area, we gather. Starting with steamfest at Maitland and another couple of crystal events, both at Maitland (half an hour away). Not feeling too impressed with the customers at the moment. We have another event this weekend in Western Sydney, so hoping our luck will change. This event was slow last year , due to a bridge being underwater and many of the roads in the area being closed because of flooding. We still managed a small profit , so hoping that the tides may have changed.

I had a visit from the carpenter who is going to be building a new door for my shed. I just want to be able to leave the door open and have a strong screen door locked when the kiln is firing over night. I don't like leaving the doors open, but it has to happen for the heat to escape. Possum and water rats are my biggest fear. I can't imagine thieves trying to steal my super heavy kilns, but I think a bit more security will be good.

Dottie,. negotiate a fixed fee up to the lowest amount you will accept for a lower $$ figure, then a % of anything they get over that price .... if you haven't signed up an exclusive agency thing with them, share this offer around with other agents if they don't want to come to the party ... or simply threaten to remove the property from sale and you will sell it privately .... you have up to $70,000 to offer as a discount if needed to get a private sale over the line, and still be in front ..... you can be sure the agency will have other fees tact on like advertising and "open house" fees etc
