Really good news on Deborah‘s progress, being in a health fund she’ll probably be kept in hospital recuperating longer, my SIL’s brother waited 2 1/2 years to have knee replacement, finally admitted in the afternoon, operation next day, home that afternoon

Dot only wish that you could send me some sleep time would be wonderful, pleased to hear that you are able to rest & sleep.

We had a great weekend weather wise, summer has certainly arrived early, I did all the edges of the lawn y’day arvo, will try & mow it this week.

Time to try & nod off again, goodnight Dot & everyone else sleeping, sweet dreams.

Had a great surprise this afternoon Terry and Margaret popped in for a cuppa it was great to see them I like the set up in there new motor home very jealous of the aboard space hope you have lots of good times tripping around in it Thank you for the visit

Nothing exciting today, saw GP and she did the best ever ref to the specialist geriatrician for me. Had been told by some old moo at the clinic it may take up to 2 years for appointment, we shall see... Missing my Helen Now I am going to ask you lot something, I got a FB friends request from my granddaughter 22yrs old, I have never met her as my son and I do not get along, Q/ why would she contact me now? I have met my grandson 25 yrs old once when he was about 5. Why now? Anyway glad to hear Deborah and Phil are doing well and are at home being good. Next is Robert not Bob. I wish my grand daughter would try to contact me, or my son or either of the two daughters still alive, grab the opportunity with both arms open wide, there is no time for bitterness as we get older, it just leaves a lasting memory of being a bitter old person to the day we died .... no one wants that .... do they?

Every September Victoria goes insane.
Ch7 news had THREE MINUTES of actual news before switching to coverage of every esoteric aspect of the AFL Grand Final… for the next 25 minutes until it was time for the weather.
ABCNEWS24 was not much better. SBS was the only channel that covered the rest of Australia and the world!
So SWMBO went to bed early, and I’ve been watching wood turning videos on YouTube.
Learned some new techniques.

Nothing great done today, saw AJ, G has made her a little trolley for her to put things on to move that are too heavy to lift and I asked her if I may borrow my battery clippers I have taken peoples comments re Granddaughter contacting me and I replied "yes I accept your friend request" and I also asked her "what made her get in contact " I await an answer. The older Grandson has never contacted me either but we shall see what happens next. Thanks everyone. We have nice gentle rain. Noticed the scout corella around today that tells me the warmer weather is approaching woo hoo. BOB's start up again this coming weekend Might get back into the bus tomorrow so it can be all ready to hit the road for a HTFFBO catch up for a few days early next month. Will my body survive?? Good news to know all the orthopedic patients are doing ok, next will be Robert not Bob next month. Hope the lack of sleep people are sleeping better and the cut ones are mending, what a bunch of old crocks hey? Off for a shower then bed e buys so goodnight, everyone x Goodnight Bobr x
