Deborah 34c sounds good to me, it was sure good when we came inside to the aircon.
Dot unfortunately I couldn’t eat the food today, everyone else enjoyed same, I brought my lamington home for Oliver & there was plenty of the Australia lamington sponges left so brought a piece home for the other 3 g’sons too, lamington sponge really doesn’t go down well with beer & wine, I took a salad, I’m gluten free & lactose intolerant, diagnosed Celiac disease.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Hot as today but cooled down quickly around 5pm and it smells like ? George saw AJ today for a treatment, hope she has worked her magic as he is talking about not going to NZ. I am going to ring his GP tomorrow and ask if he can write a referral for a steroid inj for G even if just to get him on the plane. Terry it was too hot for me to get the pic of our windscreen for the sun screen , should get it tomorrow. I'm off for a nice warm shower then to bed e buys so Behave everyone and take care in this heat.. NC George re your eye exam from your Dr, When I get my yearly eye check up I get a copy of their report and the GP uses that as their exam, mine is very happy not to have to do the eye testing (time) try that way,. Goodnight everyone x

Dot, stay cool mate and stop terrifying me with your expected weather grrr , glad G has some relief and the steroids should make a huge difference. xxxx
Well done Shirley, those cakes are very inventive. What a shame you can't enjoy those treats now .
It was just as hot today too. So I spent a while in my airconditioned study and made up a delivery grocery order to get us some staples (like bread, butter and milk) to be delivered around the time that we should arrive at the caravan park. I don't use the delivery thing very often and it took a lot longer than I planned. As we will be arriving at around 4 on Sunday, we don't expect to be able to find anywhere open, to get the groceries done.
Then onto the labels that I printed onto cardboard yesterday. I spent ages wrapping huge rolls of packing tape around some of them to be able to stick them onto the bags and then easily remove the Adelaide labels to reveal the Newcastle ones. I don't really want to take the huge roll of packing tape...we are already taking half the house. Some of the labels will get cable tied onto the handles as well....just to be sure...

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
That is a good point Tanks shall do IF we even get to use them the way things are going. G is feeling slightly more comfortable but still not good. GP rang and sent an x/r request to the hosp, No appointments until 3rd Feb but I will ring each morning to see if there are any cancellations. First will be the ultrasound, IF there is any Bursitis then the steroid jab will be done but if none then no jab. Have been watching the story of Auschwitz and I am shocked at the things I had no idea about, how can humans do such things?? I hope they teach these happenings in schools, Do they still teach History these days? Nothing can compare to that time in history. Today Robert not Bob had his op so shall have to wait to see how it all went. Time for a shower then bed, so Goodnight everyone x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot we read The Diary of Anne frank in high school and it has lead me to find out a lot more about those concentration camps. There was no justification for treating people like that. Obviously there are some topics in the history studies in high school, but many people don't study history in high school and so begins our failures to shares the horrors that we should all know about. Good luck with G's leg mate. xxxx
Tanks, thanks for the reminder to put labels inside the cases too. Will do that before I go to bed!
Being Concentration camp remembrance day, we should all remind our youth, that Christianity is based upon Judaism and Jesus was a Jew. There is no place in our culture for such hatred as that minority showed this week. I laughed when I heard the news saying that while the disgusting event was in SA, only one of the 16 arrested were actually residents of SA. Seems like rent-a-crowd come from all over Aus, just to make a rude noise.
Today the weather was so unpredictable, we stayed inside and did inside things. There was a serious road accident on the road out of town, so glad that we were not involved in that.
night all xxx

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
A boring lackluster day but at least the weather was kind, I managed to move some big pot plants under the wisteria for some protection from the sun and to make it easier for the Brian sitter to water them all. G saw AJ again today and he reports some improvement. I am off to Mt Barker tomorrow to get some things done and some shopping then to the hairdressers for a dyke cut. I noticed how dirty the windows were but I just can't do them, and neither can George so they will have to stay that way the same for the floors, they need a good mopping but just can't do them, so much for home help, I have been accepted but now we have to wait and wait and wait. Anyway I got a text from the "gut man" about my 5 day X/ray saga and results show what I knew, " A slow bowel" and nothing sinister. Nice to know
So more fiber fiber and water water and more water plus "Magnesium Pellegrino" along with the K fiber.
Thats my story for today, hope you enjoyed it
Goodnight everyone x
