Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

My bacon and egg day turned into a wet feet day when a wrong step resulted in the gumboot sinking in the mud till the river level was high enough to flood over the top .... that marked the end of trying to get plastic drums under the solar panels that power the river pump. Well, it actually came to a halt when Margaret called me to say we had a customer/friend dropping by to sort out a problem that had just turned up in her lithium system in her caravan. That one turned out to be connections rattling loose along the Birdsville track, just took a while to become bad enough to melt the stud and nut on the Gigavac .... an easy job turned into a rather expensive parts cost and a few hrs work.
To add to the fun and excitement, tried to make a very sharp U turn and accelerate away ( in front of the house from the wrong side of the road) when a car came round the corner at a tad more than the 80km/h limit, and bang, the L/H outer CV joint that has clunked since I've owned the car, decided to explode and dump half the cage and all the ball-bearing on the road ....... So after the caravan fix, drag the Gypsy trailer down to the house using the Kombi, then tried to wrestle it on the trailer using ratchet straps, Margaret called Bruce and Brian (not Dotties pussy) to add their assistance pushing while Margaret and I winched. Got it on the trailer, transported to the workshop and dropped it in the workshop yard ....

By the time we got back home it was after 7pm so a few steaks in a glass were required to cool down again 8-)

Today is "battle the insurance assessor in regards to the silver Prius claim" and continue with the Hino up grades to the interior and fix the taxi Prius ..... along with what ever actual work for T1 Lithium comes in as well.

Apparently when I trimmed the hedge it made the site too exposed. As you can see (bottom left) it’s right next to the path to my shed.
… and our resident Bearded Dragon has not yet found the eggs. So today I’ll remove it (and finish the hedge trimming). 😀

Amazing how much mud & twigs went into the foundation of the nest! Must have weighed at least 1kg when I removed it… no wonder the hedge was sagging a bit on that side! 😳
Are you going to try to hatch them Ray???? I wouldn't advise sitting on them, but wrapped in an electric blanket or the nest in an old electric frypan on warm with the lid on might do it ....

T1 Terry
No, T1,
The nest (plus eggs) went straight to the Green Bin! (The eggs were a tad small to be candidates for a Bacon & Egg Day breakfast… :?
Regards & God bless,
Ray

I'm sitting out on the verandah drinking a steak in a glass, reading the forum and watching the rain belt down.
We are currently under a very slow moving thunderstorm with some big rain drops and a bit of hail. Bandit is less than impressed with the thunder.
Jd , you are absolutely correct, no such thing as a quiet day at T1's.
