Saw the Cardiologist yesterday.
He's pleased with the angiogram — or whatever the printout was — and says to book another review in 12 months. :!:
Next Monday it's the Oncologist's day, and another session of immunotherapy.

The merry-go-round continues…

Another day to mark in the diary. 😀👍
Today I managed (in company with SWMBO, Kelly and Megs) to walk 1.13km and chalked up 2,950 steps.
That’s the highest figures since I was discharged from hospital just after New Year!
For the first month I was lucky to manage 200 steps a day. 😳
Things are getting better every day. 👍😀

Another date with my Oncologist tomorrow (Monday) and another immunotherapy session.

Ray,
I still have difficulty walking to the letter box.
The return to the house has to be timed with the breathing cycle.
God bless all who breathe and walk. (This includes the "Girls")
Keith.

Progress report:
Today we took the girls for a walk around what used to be known as Lake King.
(Since the Shire of Beechworth spent $2m turning it into a ‘wetland’ rather than pay a local farmer $100,000 to repair the leak in the dam wall, locals now refer to it as ‘The Swamp’.)
I recorded the walk on a phone app. We covered 1.7km in 36 minutes. About 4km/h. Clocked up a smidge under 5,000 steps for the day — significantly more than my monthly average of just under 3,000. 😃
Four km/h is not an unexpected pace when accompanied by two greyhounds who stopped every 10m or so for a sniff at something in a tuft of grass. 🙄
Still, I managed to complete the circuit without having to stop for a breather. 👍
I did have a short snooze after, though.
Oncologist and treatment session in about 10 days, so more news after that.

Top effort Ray. You'll be doing fun runs to the winery before you know it. :D

Great effort Ray. My walk to the pub to watch State of Origin wore me out so much I had to sit down and have a drink ..... just the walk to the bar was a bit much and I had to sit down and have another drink. Come time to head back to the motorhome, it was raining, so the brisk walk exhausted me to the point I slept for hrs ;)
I doubt it was 1.7km total and a long rest half way, so you are about ready for the winery tour .... 8-)

Another day with the Oncologist today.
Some good-ish news:
Despite five weeks of treatment, my cancer count has been stubbornly rising… until now.
It’s not exactly declining, but the rate of climb has slowed considerably — almost plateauing.
As the metastases have resisted the immunotherapy, he wants to stick a needle into one of them for analysis. He suspects the cancers in my liver may not be related to the bowel cancer, which would explain the lack of progress.
Treating the wrong type of cancer. 🫢
I’ll keep you posted… 🙏🤞
