Another link from Ford Parts Giant that links all US Ford dealer spares stock
Parts discontinued.jpg
Looks like my make up assembly might have to be it

Edit: Found this
Home 2001 Ford F-250 Super Duty 4C3Z-9B659-BA
See Spec Prelim Area For Part I.D - Ford (4C3Z-9B659-BA)
Genuine OEM Ford Parts & Accessories - 4c3z9b659ba
Replaces YC3Z-9B659-AB
but it appears this part is also discontinued ..... I've left a message at a few dealerships over that way to see if they can help with another option

Terry, maybe try looking at some of Australian LPG parts supply places like Apollo Autogas or Progas.
Search for - hose induction. You might get lucky, or even find the right part.

Apollo gas is no more, Progas has no listing for adaptor hoses at all. They do have interesting LPG injection bits .... but a future project me things

I didn't know Apollo had gone. I used to work for the guy that started that company.
Progas had a couple of things in the air induction list. I couldn't get a lot of their pages to open. To many people in town using all the available bandwidth

Did a fairly solid search through anything that adapted to the 425 mixer, nothing even close to fitting the 4.5" throttle body. I did see a You Tube video where he replaced the twin butterfly valve with a single oval butterfly valve, he had a K&N air filter and what looked like a straight 4.5" plastic pipe and a 4.5" flexible rubber coupling going to the throttle body. I could make up a 4.5" to 3.5" adaptor to fit the 425 Impco mixer and do it that way .... I'll wait and see how this jigsaw puzzle adaptor goes first ..... have to find someone local to TIG weld the 1" tube into the 4" adaptor pipe to plumb the idle compensator valve into .... needs to be supplied the air/LPG mix as it feeds into the manifold to throttle body 90* adaptor.

Makes it too short between the throttle body and LPG mixer and there is no where to add in the idle compensator hose, that's what the hole in the OEM part near the throttle body is for ...... it needs to be between the LPG mixer and throttle body so it is feeding the LPG/air mix into the manifold when bypassing the throttle body to do the whole cold engine fast idle and avoid the stumble when the throttle is open and closed rapidly in stop start traffic.
I think the 4 bits I have coming from evilbay will do the job, and hopefully I can get enough offset using the joiner tube in the middle to get the LPG mixer forward enough to match up with the LPG converter outlet and the air cleaner pipe that runs through the firewall to the air cleaner mounted up front.
The whole air intake is a mess of reducers and expanders, the throttle body is a 4.5" sort of oval, down to a 3.5" LPG mixer, that goes to an adaptor that connects to the 3.5" pipe that goes through the firewall and then a 60* bend that brings it back up to 4.5" where it goes onto the air cleaner .... surely just making it 4.5" all the way would have been a heap easier

The sale for the cheapest of the hoses (which would not have fitted) on Evilbay has been successfully cancelled and the money refunded, so all is good wit the world as far as that part goes ..... well, when PayPal gets around to crediting my bank account it will be anyway

Maybe it needs a bit of a venturi effect to get the airflow required for the idle compensation to work correctly.
I wish some of my gas conversion mates from back in the day were still about and I could ask them.
