Davis research station is the most southern constantly manned Aus base in Antarctica, beyond that there are a couple of summer camps and research centers, unmanned during winter.
Maatsuyker is the southernmost lighthouse in Aus.

They both went to Kogoarah High School and then the University of Sydney. Then after graduating Clive James went to London and Hewson went on to further study in Canada. Thats Mr Google's version of the facts anyway.

I started looking at the question and gave up - Wikipedia is saying Clive went to Sydney Technical High School (is this the same place as Kogarah High ?).
