Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Good morning everyone. Had a sleep in this morn. Was awake most of the night listening to the rain. Spent most of yesty doing housework and grocery shopping, can't say that I want to make a habit of it. Looks like this rainy weather will keep up for a while. Safe travels everybody.
Just checked the gauge. 42mm since 9.00 yesty.
Cheers

The view from the door of our Men’s Shed.
This is a 20” drain.

… and it’s not blocked. Drain outlet is onto the paddock at the white post on the other side of the road.

Good morning All. I organised a tow truck for 10am so drove to meet it at 9:55 and waited for a while before realising that i had left my phone at home so continued to wait until 10:30 before driving home to check my messages and find that the there was a delay and that he/she should be there in about 20 minutes. Luckily for me I had decided to leave the ignition key in the unlocked car so the driver could load the Terios and bring it home. It was finally unloaded and put into place by 11:30. It is now too hot and humid to do any more, 27* and 95% humidity and thunderstorms forecast.

It rained so much yesterday early hrs, both rain water tanks were overflowing by the time we headed off to the workshop. The water was flooding our back patio because the ground was so saturated already it couldn't just soak away .... takes a lot of water to saturate sand that has a slope all the way back to the river
Connected up the swimming pool pump again and pumped out of the linked rain water tanks up to the middle tank that supplies the toilet and laundry and supplements the household supply if the rain water tank pump can't keep up with the demand. That is now full and over flowing down the boggie down pipe arrangement that links the overflow from all the tanks back to the rain water tank, gunna have to find some where else to move the excess if we have another heavy rain day. Seems the urgency to get the river pump going again has eased significantly

Wearing a big patch across the right side of my forehead today as my latest fashion statement. After taking 200mg of Lyrica every 3 hrs over night along with all the other pain killers and muscle spasm medication, I've already maxed out on the tablets till around 11pm tonight .... it is going to be a very long day ....
