Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

Dot, I haven’t collected the new glasses yet, still waiting to be notified 😟

Believe it or not we actually played the 2nd round of Consistency at bowls today, it was really cold, we played the wind as well as one another, I lead all the way & lost it on the last end 146-156, first one to 150, closest 4 bowls to the jack count, 4 3 2 1, poured rain this arvo when I arrived home, it was predicted to rain all day.

Feeling very tired so hopefully I will sleep,
Goodnight sweet dreams 💤💤
Shirley & Bruce.

Sounds like you lot up there in NSW are getting a beating from the weather? I don't think I could be coaxed out to play in such coldness but you sound like you are in good form ready to take the championship this year. I went for the Barium swallow yesterday morning (Tues) got there early and waited about 3 mins then was taken through, had the X/R done, home to greet our visitors then my gut man rang to say throat is ok and he believes Speech therapy would help ??? G's GP rang to say he got results of some test and asked Questions then told G he would leave some spec pots for poop and pee tests plus a script for Iron so some thing is going on Hmmmmmm his turn. ?? Deborah could your renter let you put your van on her place till yours dries out a bit? Spring bulbs are flowering, Xmas is coming  Watching the time trials of the BOB's but not to interesting so I am off to bed now. Goodnight everyone x :D Good night Wimmera Jack x :D

By the look of the map on BoM it is still persistently falling down with rain on the Central Coast and North Coast. I hope all our forum friends down that way are safe and dry and not in danger.
We were in Taree and Coffs Harbour last week and some of the spots we were in are now well under water. Some of video online of these floods are shocking.
If it's flooded forget it. Stay safe everybody.
Cheers

For Jd.
BOB's are back and oh boy are those hills high. G went to dentist today a filling needed to be replaced so on his way home he bought a new TV for the bed room as the one in there was playing up as it would not switch on and the red light on/off button turned red so that was it for me unplugged and put outside. OK so the new TV put in place plugged in and 0 but a globe, no matter what he tried = 0 Any ideas? The booklet was no good. Air con been on all day brrrr. I keep getting calls from some foreign speaking woman wanting to talk about investments??? Next time I will really lead her on. Nothing much happening around here Our yard dwellers are heading to the city tomorrow to see the sites. Hope the weather is good for their visit to the Botanical Gardens. Shirley my old school friend and her bowls partner won their bowls but I lost where and the name of their club. Hope you are dried out enough Deborah. The scenery of Italy is just beautiful, the little villages all perched on top of the hills Cerredolo is the Village name they are going through and 50k to go. Luke Plapp from Jayco is doing a good job but things change so fast. Nothing planned for tomorrow so Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Jd x :D Saw the Taggerty CFS are not happy with some MP?

Dot, I love the way that you are thinking. Our tenant has a very tiny yard. Her prado only just fits into the yard, so don't think we could use her yard for the van. You and G are still being medical guinea pigs? Hope they find some help for you both.xxxx

Like Shirley says, it's been a big bit damp over here. We have been battling a musty smell in the bedroom for a couple of days. So today , as the rain was not quite as heavy, we did some investigating. The water tank right outside the bedroom has sprung yet another, bloody leak. This time it's right next to the brick walls, so no hope of getting that mess dried out in a hurry. We have no mouldy growth in the bedroom, just a smell. We emptied what was left in the tank and will try to patch it once it's had some time to dry a little bit. He says it will need to be done from the inside, so I have asked him to wait until the rain has stopped and the area is a lot less slippery, so I can be with him, for assistance, when he climbs into the tank.
The leak that we patched up with Tanks suggested kneed it stuff, is still holding up well, so that's what will we use for this latest leak. Thanks for the great advice Tanks. We kept the air con on hot for the day in the room, but this may take a while.

We have a few mates and their families that are staying in evacuation centres at the moment. They were all offered beds here, but they all want to be close to home. Understandable, but we are worried for them all. The area around Taree, has been declared a one in one hundred year flood and from the news it's clear this flood is more water then anyone can remember in their area. An elderly, gent who has lived there all of his life, has never seen his house get flooded until this week. It is what it is, but scary for all in those areas.

Stay sane you lot

nighty night xxx

Deb; I was introduced to KNEED-IT stuff by Bob & Bev when a lot of the forum had a get together at the 40 mile beach camping area south of Karratha some years back.

That's a great pic Dot. Nice to be reminded of who some people are and what they looked like a while back.....well a few years ago then. xxxx

We are dry inside the house. Went off to Toukley today in the patrol, just to finally have the scans and steroids put into my not operated on, knee. Feels good, so far. Just waiting for the drugs to wear off. Luckily we scored the only time of day when the rain was not so severe. Since about 3pm, it has been torrential. The rain gauge will be full for sure and overflowing.

After midnight, I received a message from the ses , saying to stay at home. I don't know too many people who would be up at midnight reading their f**kbook pages. I really think this would have been better done by the police on their phone messaging services. Even more thoughtful, would be to look outside and realise that it probably is not safe out there at the moment. We are up and high and dry, so no problems here.

We have been trying to install a huge tunnel under our house, with a giant plug, to send our excess water over to the Murray Darling. We keep running into unmapped coal mines. So that lost out. Next try is to just send the water over to you through the mines themselves, don't think the miners would notice. Yes, we realise you lot are serving the opposite sentence to us. Somehow this is just so wrong and the powers that be, upstairs don't seem to be hearing our pleas.

night all xxx

Deborah.
when he climbs into the tank.
Be very careful. Lots of deaths occur when this happen from breathing poisonous trapped gasses.

Get a professional to do it.
