Nightly Goodnight Everyone

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

and he is wanting a chocolate cake. A lady friend and her man friend (travelling in their own little vans) with their 2 little dogs he stopped for some reason (a pee) and one of the little dogs hopped out as well unbeknownst to him so he drove off . Met up shortly with lady and then discovered her dog was missing. Went back to last stop and no dog so I think someone has picked it up. Stupid people, should have animals secured and doors shut when you get out. So far no news and the lady is beside herself and as for the man, well say no more. Always the animals that suffer from the rejects of humans. :( OK hope everyone is fit and well and or getting better. Stay safe if on the roads. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Bernie x :D
If the dog is chipped, it will turn up, even if it's a vet visit. If the dog got out of the car and didn't stay with the owner, that is a poorly trained dog ....

Yes her dog is chipped etc BUT it is the stupid mans fault for not following the law for a start bu securing the dog in the first place. Nothing exciting happened today apart from people NOT returning your call. Their time for being bloody rude ends tomorrow. Bought a few of my hoyas inside to see if they do better than the ones outside under the shade cloth. Still no rain but it is rather cold at night. .Might do some weed killing if the sun is still shining tomorrow. How did your day go with the caravan people Deborah?? Time for Brian's bedtime snack then off to bed. Goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight VicA x :D

Dot, how did the back man go for Mr G? Any more treatments needed?
I am not ringing the caravan mob until they ring me to tell me the van is fixed. They already said the mechanic is due to deal with it on 20thAugust, so then they will have things to fiddle fart with no doubt. Of course they will not ring me to tell me if they snag an earlier time for the mechanic. They just do not care. I sat on hold for the insurance co today for an hour and hung up. I may get lucky one day. Like you say, they never return the calls. xxxx

The weather has gone back to freezing and very wet. No incentive to doing very much at all. This weekend and next, we should be at two different Western Sydney events....no van, no go. I don't sell enough stuff to cover the cost of motels or cabins, so more cancellations had to be done. Maybe this is a good thing, as the weather does affect sales hugely. As far as getting down to the shed, it's hard in this weather to face up to the cold and rain to get down there, but as I am not selling anything, it seems a bit silly to keep on making stuff until I am back on the trail.

Stay warm and dry

night all xxx

Grrr got a new tv for the bedroom and wanted to watch the BOB's on SBS on demand so G went to the machine and it said we had to be hooked up to the internet ??? I am too dam old for this stuff so looks like I am buggered. This arvo I got one of the call backs I was supposed to get yesterday, my oncologist said he would get onto the female dog at the dental clinic that discharged me to the numb nuts at Mt Barker. G managed to get through to the other off shore reception and explained what he needed and she seemed to catch on to what he was asking for. She said she would see that his message gets through to the back man. I got my form for my MR licence so I booked my eye test just before I see my GP next as I take the eye peoples report and she uses that saving her time testing my eyes and we get more time to yap on  G is sorting out all the hoses and belts for the bus before any trip is started. Nothing remotely exciting happened today so it's a goodnight everyone x :D Goodnight Wimmera Jack x :D

Hey Dot, you got a call back? How much extra are you slipping in the money envelope next time you visit that person? Sounds like you had a productive day. Good one mate xxxx

I have been getting the cold shoulder from one of our event organisers. We had to cancel on him for a big event in a couple of weekends time. I almost expect that he won't invite us to return for next years events. I went into damage control today. I made up a f**kbook page on my site, with pictures of our damaged van and explained to our fans why we are MIA. As his wife is one of my followers, she will show it to him (I Hope). In the meantime the weather has been so unfriendly that we are almost happy to be missing his event this time. Lousy weather, usually equates to lousy sales and getting into Western Sydney in crappy weather is not an easy thing at the best of times.

Today, I received an electricity bill for $350. I went into overdrive. Last bill was $110 and previously they have been under a hundred. I phoned the electricity mob to ask what's happening. Not their fault this time. Our solar provides most of our daytime power and we usually get it very close to not much bill. Of course, with clouds that are as thick as snow clouds, no solar. Der, did I need that lesson? How embarrassing. Anyway we had a bit of a laugh and he told me that he has had lots of our town ringing with the same questions. I did tell him that we are not a town full of retards, just old and forgetful people. No worries, just pay the bloody bill on the last day that they have given me to pay.

The best thing that I managed to do today was to get out an old 70's cookbook and make some beautiful beef osso bucco. It was so good. I don't know why I have stopped cooking that meal. It was $30 for the meat, but that covers 3 full meals and each one will be yummo. One for tomorrow night and one for the freezer.

In yet another down pour from the heavens, we are having another full blow week of rain and floods will follow...again.

night all xxx

Dottie, ask your back man if a stimulator will help with George's pain problems .... I was supposed to get one fitted, but NRMA said no, and at that stage we certainly didn't have the funds to have one fitted out of our own pocket.

I'm thinking seriously about investigating having one fitted to curb the neck pain, headaches and back pain that ends up crippling me for days at a time ..... one of those times it would be good to still live in the Illawarra, had all the contacts here ..... this never ending rain tells me that is about the only up side of living on the east coast now ....

Deborah I keep annoying the people then asking for the CEO when they ask what for I tell them "It is private and personal" usually gets me through . If they don't have a CEO I then get hold of one of my Specialists to fire the bullets in letters to the top people and that works every time. Never take no for any answer you are their boss when you are paying for their services. Bernie what is your next job? Terry I shall ask Dr re the Implant but I am sure he would of considered that. With all the knee, hip, foot and cataract ops that have been happening over the last few months we should be good for a few more years yet. Ready for a long hot shower now, heard from HTFFBO tells us that Paul is going home on Tuesday. Goodnight every one x :D Goodnight Shirley x :D

Dot (and indirectly Terry) there has been a lot of interest in those spinal chord stimulator ops and many are coming back after a few years as paraplegic due to the damage that the things are doing to spinal nerves. I was offered one a few years ago and went to another doc for a second opinion. She told me to stay clear of anything that can interfere with the spinal chord, as it is now thought of as experimental and risky. Thanks for your ways to get to the right people Dot. I may try that when we get the van back and decide to have a go at the head office of Caravan Fix franchise. Get the van home first. xxxx

We have had 1 1/2 inches of rain overnight and it has not stopped for any great lengths of time today. It's heavy and relentless, our yard is back to being a bog. I have just had to cancel another jayco get together, so I rang a few of the people who I'd like to catch up with instead. Spent most of the afternoon on the phone and it was good to get some of the goss, and to talk to someone not his nibs.

nighty night xxx
