Good morning daily

Drop in and dribble on about nothing serious. Seriously a mad place to hang out. Better to avoid it if you're not in the mood!!! If you're determined to be sad, bad, mad & angry then move along!!!

I have to question exactly what choice did the Gubment have?
I mean the riots etc were getting out of control by the radicals & starting to attack Police horses & vehicles, damaging businesses, interrupting traffic at peak times and costing millions in attempted ways to minimize the effect of the rallies.
If it was me I think I'd have also said "get 2 or 3 jabs to protect yourselves & let these pricks die".
Unfortunately as we've seen, any one with other medical problems are the first ones to fall.
I think I know who to blame?!
Like my dear Dad used to say. "remove the clothes & shoot the contents. No point ruining good clothes".

Uuummmm.... putting profit for the pharmacies and supermarkets ahead of the need to provide a free or cheap rapid antigen testing kits so people can test themselves and see if they should isolate to reduce the spread ..... It really does show where the current govts priorities lie ..... profit before people ???? Hard to call it anything else eh ...... Opening up the borders was along the same lines, no more hand outs, let them trade and fail or sort it out for themselves .... if the business wasn't big enough with a high enough profit margin, not much hope of surviving when the people you rely on for custom are too scared to actually go out and mix with other people ......

I think the average person is a responsible citizen, if they can self test easily they will so they know if they should self isolate to reduce the risk to others ... particularly those who are vulnerable ....

On the ABC "Drum" yesterday, not something I watch much really, but those in the know said openly, everyone will catch Omicron, there is no real protection against it, even if you have survived a previous Covid infection, it will not protect you from this new strain ...... Scarey stuff indeed, their only bright side was,if fully vaccinated, every change the symptoms will be mild or you won't even know you have it ...... the real concern is if everyone gets it at the same time and the serious cases get beyond the medical facilities capacity to cope ..... then we will be in real trouble .....

It may be similar to the Spanish Flu which reduced the world's population significantly until we repopulated.

Terry I agree & I can't help recalling those mass graves we all saw on TV that I think were just on the outskirts of New York right at the beginning of the outbreak of covid before any injection was released.

I hope you enjoyed your walk Bernie. Good morning everyone. It is a bit cooler this morn, and overcast, so it should be a good day for travelling. We are just about packed up and will be heading off home today.
Happy hump day everybody. Safe travels.
Cheers
