Fingers and toes are crossed for your mate Dot. Hoping that she has finally found the person to get her real justice. It seems to me that family often think that they have some rights to anyone else's property as long as they are related. I disowned a sister who tried that sort of crap on us. Have had no contact in over 5 years and it has been much more pleasant here with out her. Hope you get good results with the fang farrier mate xxxx
Ray, good news is even better when shared. Stay fit n healthy mate .
Shirley, must have been some crazy weather ions attacking us. I had a very sleepless night too. Mine was mainly caused from coughing and sneezing fits...yep dust will do that every time.
Today I tried to get a script filled for newer nasal spray. Of course our local chemist had never heard of it (I believe it's been on the market for a couple of years). He has ordered it in and will collect tomorrow. Sometimes we know we use this chemist for convenience, but he is so very out of date on newer drugs and he isn't that old at all. I really try to keep him on his toes and watch what he dispenses very carefully.
The rest of the day was just doing the usual stuff. Paying up the bills and trying to keep the house clean. Another not much happening day here.

Debrah, sometimes certain drugs take a long time to be accepted across the board
I have one that has to be ordered each month
My chemist had not heard of it and no one else in their group despenses it that he knows of. I notify about 3 days in advance for him to order
Too expensive for him to hold too long. Bit like some diseases that are not common where often even the so called experts don't recognise it or just follow the mill and can't accept when some one follows a different regime. Had quite a few arguments with neurologist and also other experts who want to argue about one of my problems and how I treat it.

Deb,
I wouldn’t exactly call my current state of health “… fit and healthy…”. (I’ll learn tomorrow what my oncologist suggests for a future plan… )
I posted about the Cardiologist visit because it’s a rare bit of GOOD news among all the
I’ve been handed recently.
The other GOOD NEWS right now is that we are now LESS THAN A WEEK away from heading off on our Big Train Holiday
(the ‘Delayed Honeymoon’ — only 49 years late…
)!

Yet another early night, as I have to be ‘bright eyed and bushy tailed’ for the oncologist tomorrow.
So I’ll say “Goodnight All” now.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
My needles in the eyes specialist said the reduction to 10 weeks between jabs has had great results, the bleeding has settled, and my vision has improved, very happy with that.
Had my first all night sleep in a very long time last night, I'm hoping I can repeat it tonight ....
Good night all, hope you all sleep well and wake up rested ......

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot, you been overdoing it again mate? xxxx
Ray, I do understand the situation, but as you say, every little bit of good news is a good thing. Hope you have an amazing train adventure, sounds like a real bucket list trip.
Brian, yes I have to give him warning next time that I need to order it in. It's not even such a rare drug, but it should be worth the wait.
Terry, good to see you have had some good news too.
I enjoyed some time in my shed today. A friend gave me a blue coloured wine bottle when we were at Armidale. We hope to catch up with her in a couple of weeks. I want to get her bottle worked on to give back to her. My usual process is to flatten the bottle in the kiln and the second firing is with some shaping chalk to mold a handle into the neck of the bottle. This time, I have made a mold with the chalk already under the neck, to save on firing time/expense. The challenge is to see if the battle flattens out before the neck does or it may not work and leave a big bubble in the body of the bottle. Tomorrow will tell.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
I'm hearing you Dot. I had that happen last week too. PITA if you ask me! xxxx
Success in the shed. My bottles both flattened nicely and the handles were formed just right. On one, the chalk refused to fall out from under the neck. I soaked in water and got it out ok, just can't re-use that bit of chalk. So today's shed time was a repeat of yesterday. Cleaned off the labels on 2 wine bottles and put them in to the kiln in the same mold with fresh chalk under the necks. I will do the same tomorrow to finish off the coloured glass bottles that have been sitting around. I don't sell enough of them to bother with the clear whisky bottles or the dull brown bottles. Maybe will do some of them if I start to sell some of the newer ones.
Much of the day was spent trying to get inspiration for the kids Christmas surprises. How dare they grow up so fast? As they are now becoming young adults, I don't think the el cheapo T-shirts or colouring pencils will do this year at all. Still hunting through the cheap places for inspirations for the older teenagers and then try to look like there is equality and age appropriate-ness, for the 11 year old miss, who thinks she is 16. Any thoughts may be happily accepted.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Write off yesterday and trying (without success) to get my draft post back. Went to the big green shed and bought a Boronia plant, the smell is divine. Shall I re pot into a nice pot or put it in the garden? I also love Daphne but have had no luck with them. The green shed is getting ready for their big move to new building, it's going to be 4 times the size of the normal ones so it;s going to be a beauty. Pulled a heap of Mondo grass up and saw the new neighbour over the road pulling up grass so went over introduced myself and asked her if she would like some mondo grass and luckily she said yes bit I have heaps left over, George replanted about 30 bits in a spare spot. Cleaning out the bird cage and there they were 2 broken eggs laid from a height.
Keep the kiln going Deborah love see the splats. We were sitting outside having a cuppa and the ph rang, blow me down it was the Ram and Rammie from NZ, they are doing fine, Norman had bought a little light weight van for their escapes with friends and fishing so that is keeping him entertained. He also got another dose of sepsis and spent time in hosp, that's out boy
Now spring has sprung it's practice time for Shirley and her trip to be Champion. A girl I went to school with and her crazy husb are starting their Mediterranean cruise, they would be great to go with. Early Goodnight to all x
Goodnight WimmeraJack x

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Welcome back Dot. Boronia plant would be happiest in the ground and daphnes are notorious for being tricky so don't feel bad about them not surviving. xxxx
Yesterday shed time was fascinating. I had put in a champagne bottle along with another normal wine bottle in to flatten out. The normal bottle did it's thing nicely, but the bubbly bottle did just that. It grew a huge bubble right at the base of the neck, it had popped itself and had very sharp edges around the crater. It was about 2 inches across, so that one went into the garbage bin. I didn't even go down to check on the next lot, just not into it today.
I really need to sell some more stuff, before I can create. Next weekend will see us get a start on that too. I did all the checking today to check that we are booked into the showgrounds at Hawkesbury and our tables will be ready for us to put out the display. I am getting a bit excited because I have missed so many events while the van has been in shop.
When I clicked on the computer to do all the checking, I found an email with a croc sale...can't miss that. What a shame, to get the discount the minimum purchase was two pairs. I have been watching some hello kitty crocs for a while and they were just too dear, now was the right time to buy them so I added a pair of winter crocs that are lined and have no holes in them. They will get a fair amount of wear too, I suspect. Now I have to find some more space in the wardrobe for the extras.
It was so warm tonight that we didn't even turn the heater on, so things are feeling much more friendlier.

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
It certainly was warm here over night, and quite a warm day so far. Back to the Winnie wiring, at least I can see better today, those Norflex seem to work for around 48hrs for my eyes, about 2 hrs for my neck
Might wear the neck brace today and see it that helps at all ..... Just what you want on a warm day
