Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Dot, out to the count early again? Go girl, an early night can't be wrong xxxx
Today was more of the house cleaning and getting ready for family invasion. Tomorrow will be cooking up a couple of big chooks and the daughter can do the rest, when she arrives. I bought enough food for the whole family, but our son tells me the kids and their partners are busy this weekend so the numbers have shortened quite a bit. Could be living on left overs for the rest of next week.

I thought you were going to say they announced they don't eat meat, so you'd have to cook them lamb

Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
I am convinced that after every time I go out the following day is a non event. G saw the back man Thurs (in city) but come Friday was non existent, I slept all day until G managed to get me out of bed @5.15pm. Had an egg for tea and custard for pudding then hit the sack again. Have been watching the athletics and oh boy do those black skins shine with the oil on. Another smashed egg from the Norman house. Deb re the will thing. All sorted I have a very clever sister in Melb. They say we are expecting some rain in the next few days but nothing like you are getting up your way. Off for a shower then bed. Enjoy your family dinner Deborah, Ray n Joy are enjoying their honeymoon, and the prof1 is finding more stuff to do
Goodnight everyone x
and goodnight Robert n Bob x

Have you tried taking electrolyte pills dissolved in a glass of water Dottie, it might be low electrolyte levels causing your lack of energy .... could be getting old as well, seems once I hit 70, the switch turned off completely as far as the get up and go .... it all seems to have got up and went somewhere without me .....Dot wrote: ↑Sun Sep 21, 2025 12:23 am I am convinced that after every time I go out the following day is a non event. Re: Nightly Goodnight Everyone
Great to be back here again. Seems like forever that I was unable to get here. Thanks Bruce, your hard work is never really rewarded, but we are very grateful anyway. xxx
Dot, I follow the one day very active and the next two days are a write off. I think it's something to do with numbers on our birth certificates mate. xxxx
Family invasion was great and we are still eating left overs. Some are in the freezer, but mostly we have eaten well this week. Daughter made two of her chocolate mud cakes, so there will be cake for his morning tea for quite a long time. Most of it is in the freezer as well.
Today was a bit slower than usual, we are still in recooperation mode. I tried to contact a few caravan parks to get us all sorted for some events for the rest of the year. Leave your name and number on answering machines and they never get back. Will go back to that again tomorrow.

I second the motion of thanks to Bruce!
What I heard was a possible fire in a server somewhere.
I was thinking if all our posts were destroyed by said fire, I’d have to dig up all my old Dad Jokes and re-post them.
Not sure Civilisation is ready for that…

Do you think our razor sharp wit may have damaged a few pixels and divided some data packets and jammed up the system, causing it to overheat?
